VPN support OTA updates among the upgrades.
The next Windows Phone 8 update is purportedly codenamed Apollo Plus and will deliver a host of new notable features.
Among the features is Virtual Private Network (VPN) support, which would allow users to connect to private work or school networks through the internet.
Upon Windows Phone 8 users updating to Apollo Plus, they need not be required to plug their device into a PC system. Apparently, over the air updates will be included in the rumored version.
Other features for Apollo Plus includes the deliverance of a Wi-Fi connection fix to allow connections to always remain on, according to unnamed sources cited by The Verge. Finally, audio tweaks are also reportedly part of the patch.
Should Apollo Plus, which is intended to deliver components missing from the Windows Phone 8 debut last month as opposed to being a next major version of the platform, prove to be true, it's expected to be revealed during the Mobile World Congress in February, 2013.
And silly me always thought Apollo was the Greek god of prophecy, but maybe they build the Apollon Temple in Delphi (you know, the one with the famous oracle) for another Apollo
FYI: Apollo = Greek for "destroyer"

Naturally, with a language that as old as Greek, meaning will change over time or even branch into total opposites.
See for example UK vs. US English and the meaning of words and phrases like "bitch" or "knock up" which have a VERY different meaning in these two modern variations of one language.
Why this wasn't in WP7 I will never quite understand. However, good on you microsoft
Yeah, it's ridiculous that it took this long.
Also, Apollo 11...
