I test TVs for a living — here's the 5 best OLED TVs under $1,000
These OLEDs are the best deals on the market right now

OLED TVs often come with a hefty premium, especially if you're itching for a big-screen upgrade. But you can find several OLEDs under $1,000 if you know where to look.
Primarily you'll be looking at Samsung and LG models, as these brands aren't afraid to dip below a grand in their pricing. Go for the likes of the LG C5 or Samsung S90F — they're some of the best OLED TVs you can buy right now.
Also, don't sleep on older models. A year-old or even two-year-old OLED sets are still often a great value despite their age, and are marked down even more in the lead-up to Black Friday. Here are all the OLED TVs I recommend under $1,000 right now.

Best OLED TVs under $1,000
LG B5 OLED
The LG B5 OLED is often at the top spot on our lists for cheaper OLED TVs. It doesn't hit the same highs in performance offered by the LG C5 OLED, but the B5 is still a great choice if you're in the market for an OLED on a tight budget. And, come on, $650 for a set like this is hard to beat.
It sports great color and a strong backbone of gaming features. Tested in our labs, the B5 managed to score a Delta-E, which measures color accuracy, of just 1.65. The lower the score, the better in this case, meaning you can expect vivid, accurate colors in everything you watch.
Like other LG OLEDs, the B5 is also equipped with some of the lowest input latency in our testing. Given you're opting for a smaller size for the better price, this will make gaming feel much more immersive and snappy.
Looking for an incredible OLED picture without the high price? The LG B5 is the perfect companion. It's not as bright as higher-end OLED TVs, but you still get to bask in the glory of OLED display technology. Perfect black levels and ultra-wide viewing angles will make everything, from movies to sports, look fantastic. Dedicated gamers will appreciate the B5's array of sought-after features, which includes four HDMI 2.1 inputs, support for 4K gaming at 120Hz, VRR, and FreeSync.
LG C4 OLED
You might be thinking to yourself, "Isn't this TV a year old?" And, you wouldn't be mistaken, but the LG C4 OLED is an even better value than it was in 2024, offering incredible performance where it counts at a far lower sticker price.
You can't ask for better picture quality than this. In addition to its lifelike shadows and stellar contrasts, the C4 also has remarkable color coverage. It gets beaten by the C5 in its Rec2020 coverage (a measurement of its total color output capacity) but still manages to cover over 72% of the gamut, which is impressive. Mirroring the B5, it also has a low Delta-E score of 1.82.
Last year, I even replaced my PC monitor with the LG C4 OLED to exceptional results. If you're worried about getting a smaller TV, the C4 will work wonders.
The C4 is LG's flagship OLED TV. It's powered by LG's A9 processor and features a 120Hz panel, Dolby Vision/ HDR10/HLG support, built-in Amazon Alexa, four HDMI 2.1 ports, and Apple AirPlay 2. In our LG C4 OLED TV review, we said the content looked colorful and dazzlingly bright on the new C4 series.
LG C5 OLED
You can't make a list of cheaper OLEDs without including the LG C5 OLED. It's by far one of the best TVs of the year, netting you some of the most incredible picture performance at an unbeatable price.
The LG C5 is also one of the few TVs we reviewed this year to get a perfect score. That speaks volumes about how well this OLED stacks against the competition.
The step-up G5 OLED has even better specs than this, but the C5 delivers the best price-to-performance ratio, hence its 5-star rating from us.
The LG C5 OLED has officially hit its all-time low price. It's one of our favorite value TVs and a brilliant OLED for those looking to save a little money without giving up too much. It features gaming capabilities, including a 144Hz refresh rate and four total HDMI 2.1 ports. LG's webOS platform also offers a variety of free channels to explore, as well as cloud gaming services.
Samsung S90F OLED TV
The LG C5 OLED holds a top spot on our lists, but the Samsung S90F holds the top spot in my heart. It's got a lot of spunk, and it's built on Samsung's QD-OLED panel, which offers some of the best color volume you can ask for in an OLED TV.
Performance-wise, the Samsung S90F OLED is practically neck-and-neck with the C5. But one thing the S90F does have is 100% coverage of the UHDA-P3 gamut and almost 90% of the Rec2020 gamut, proving just how far those quantum dots go in its panel. It also has one of the lowest Delta-E scores by far in our labs, with a 1.1.
TL;DR: Colors are never going to look as good as they do on the Samsung S90F.
The S90F is an enticing new entry in Samsung's mid-level OLED lineup, offering a 144Hz refresh rate on one of Samsung's best upscaling processors. It has Tizen OS, which offers tons of free channels, not to mention several cloud gaming services, and a full Gaming Hub for all your settings in one place. The S90F also has tons of AI baked into it, like an AI Sound Pro that boosts audio dramatically.
Samsung S85F OLED TV
Technically, the 65-inch S85F will currently set you back $1,199, but that price should drop back down to under $1,000 before Black Friday. The good news is that both the 65-inch and 55-inch models are the same, so it's basically a free upgrade to the bigger model.
Unfortunately, we don't have an official review out for the Samsung S85F yet, we do have data on last year's model. The Samsung S85D OLED TV fared pretty well in our tests, though it didn't have the best luminance. You can bet the S85F remedied the issues plaguing its predecessor, and Tizen OS got a major upgrade this year.
It's one of the cheapest 65-inch OLED TVs you can buy currently and it will probably continue to drop in price as we approach Thanksgiving.
The entry-level model in Samsung's 2025 OLED range is the S85F. It's equipped with the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor, a 120Hz refresh rate, enhanced 4K upscaling and Color Booster Pro. Keep an eye on this price, because it's definitely set to drop in the coming weeks.
