The Samsung Galaxy S26 launch date is inching closer, and as we close in on the end of the year, we're going to come across fresh leaks and rumors about the upcoming phones. However, they may not have very much to say, considering a new leak has seemingly just revealed all the major specs for the Galaxy S26 lineup.

This all comes from Alchimist Leaks, who posted the specs via a Telegram channel (via NotebookCheck). While we can't say for sure how trustworthy this leak actually is, it's interesting to see what sort of hardware may be on offer come February. As well as the hardware that might have happened, had the ultra-thin Galaxy S26 Edge not been canceled.

What can we expect to arrive?

First up, we have the Galaxy S26 base model, which is set to come with a 6.3-inch M14 OLED display with QHD resolution. M14 is notable because it's what Apple and Google have been using the past few years, and has the potential to offer even brighter displays.

The leak also promises 50MP main and ultrawide cameras, plus a 12MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom — which is extremely disappointing to still be stuck with. On top of that, it claims we'll see a 4,300 mAh battery and either an Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, depending on your region.

The Galaxy S26 Plus is tipped to come with a 6.7-inch M14 OLED display, the same camera and chipset specs, plus a 4,900 mAh battery. Not all that impressive, but still not surprising considering what the S26 may end up coming with.

As for the Ultra, we have a 6.9-inch M14 display with the rumored AI privacy screen, alongside a 200MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide and telephoto (5x) lenses, plus the secondary telephoto lens. Alchimist Leaks notes that this fourth lens could be a 12MP lens with 3x optical zoom and a larger sensor, but it may also be a 50MP lens with the same magnification. Apparently, it's just not been confirmed yet.

Other Ultra notes include the same regional chipset variants, the S Pen, and a possible 5,400 mAh battery. It does point out that this may be a last-minute change, though, and isn't guaranteed.

What's been canceled?

We know that the Galaxy S26 Edge is no more, possibly due to lackluster sales and reception of the Galaxy S25 Edge. But Alchimist Leaks' specs sheet does reveal a few details about what the phone could have had in store had it actually been released.

It was tipped to come with a 6.7-inch M14 display, the same 200MP main camera as the S25 Edge, a 50MP ultra wide camera, a 4,300 mAh battery and the same Exynos/Snapdragon chip split as the other S26 series phones. The battery is particularly noteworthy, since it would be a step up from the 3,900 mAh battery in the S25 Edge — and may have helped the S26 Edge not have such a weak battery life in the process.

Interestingly, the leak also mentions a "more slimmer" S26 model, whose status is still unknown. Apparently, this phone will have more cut-down specs, including a 6.6-inch display, 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra wide camera, an Exynos 2600 and a sub-4300 mAh battery. However, it's also claimed it will have a 50MP telephoto lens as well — something the S25 sorely lacks.

Obviously, there's a lot we don't know about this new phone, and what place it would have in the Galaxy S26 lineup. Plus, while it doesn't seem to hold back on the camera specs, would having a telephoto lens be enough to make people go out and buy it? Especially considering the smaller battery was one of the S25 Edge's key weaknesses.

We may never actually know. But what we do know is that the Galaxy S26 series is coming, and rumor has it the launch is now scheduled for February 25. In the meantime, be sure to check out our official Samsung Galaxy S26 and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra hubs for all the latest news and rumors.
