Google officially announced the budget-friendly Pixel 10a today with a 15-second video teaser that reveals a slight makeover to the design. The company also highlights a pre-order date of February 18.

The teaser shows the phone in full, with the most notable thing being flush camera array that's slightly taller than the previous design. Apart from that, the Pixel 10a's design looks very similar to the previous Pixel 9a with its flat edges and rounded corners.

The video also shows off the phone in a purple-blue colorway that looks similar to the Iris hue on the Pixel 9a. I expect other shades, and Google seems to hint at more with some of the colors in the video.

The video does not reveal any pricing, specifications, or when the phone will hit store shelves after the February 18 pre-order date. However, it's likely that the phone will land in people's hands at least two weeks later.

As for price, rumors have suggested that the Pixel 10a will remain the same price as the Pixel 9a, at least in Europe. That usually means the U.S. price will match, meaning it should cost $499.

Interestingly, the Google teaser video went up almost immediately after prominent leaker Evan Blass showed off a series of images of the Pixel 10a including images like the above showing off Gemini AI features.

Blass's images appear to be leaked marketing materials, a common leak from him.

He also had one image with a Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2 in more of a purple colorway. These don't appear to be new devices but a new color for those wearables.

If you're interested, you can pre-order the Pixel 10a on Wednesday, February 18, via the Google Store.
