There are a couple of caveats to keep in mind. First, sizes are extremely limited; the only other option available is a split king (now $5,278 after $3,500 off). Second, this closeout item does not come with a proper trial, which is standard for the best mattresses we’ve tested.

Granted, this doesn't feature Tempur's latest-and-greatest tech, but the reviews are overwhelmingly positive from Tempur-Pedic shoppers. Sizes are extremely limited; the only other option available is a split king for $5,278 (was $8,798). Also, it doesn't come with a sleep trial since it's final sale, but you do get free white glove delivery and a 10-year warranty.

What is the Tempur-Contour Luxe Breeze 1.0?

The Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Contour Luxe Breeze was released in 2017 and is the predecessor of its current premium cooling mattress, the Tempur-Breeze LuxeBreeze. This is a 13.5" memory foam mattress with a cool-touch cover, a layer of Tempur-Pedic PureCool comfort foam, and multiple support layers that are designed to disperse heat and wick away moisture.

The Tempur-Contour Luxe Breeze is rated medium-firm, which means you should expect a more subtle hug with sturdier support. We imagine it'll feel similar to the Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Adapt Mattress but with a cooling boost.

Is it worth buying the Tempur-Contour Luxe Breeze 1.0 if you're a hot sleeper? Judging by the customer feeback, yes. "I no longer need to kick the covers off, or stick my foot out the side to regulate the temperature," reads one 5-star review. Another adds, "My bouts of hot flashes are fine with whatever the cooling technology magic is inside."
