Our cabinets are probably one of the most cluttered spaces in the home, and it’s very easy for us to just close the door and forget about it. The trouble is that once a cabinet is packed to capacity, it can be tough to keep things tidy and organized.
I often find that organizing the cleaning products I keep stored under the sink is a chore in itself. That’s why I found this useful IKEA hack to quickly handle clutter and keep things neat. The VATTENKAR Desk organizer for $29 at IKEA is essentially a desk caddy and a portable organizer with a handle to carry around.
In addition to using it in your home office, this is small enough to fit inside a cabinet, and easily used to store cleaning products and other bits and pieces around the home. Plus, it also comes with a handy pegboard with holes and hooks to hang loose items on. Here’s why I’ll be making this IKEA item my go-to home organizer.
This portable caddy is ideal for organizing items and can easily be carried from room to room. It’s also multifunctional and can be used for office stationery or used inside cabinets. Plus, you can pair it with SKÅDIS accessories by using the holes on the pegboard for more versatility.
From desk caddy to cabinet organizer
I love multifunctional storage, and the VATTENKAR desk organizer is exactly that. Not only does it make a practical office desk tidy, but it can instantly handle all your cabinet clutter in seconds. This is thanks to its slimline and ergonomic profile that should fit snugly into a corner of a room or inside a cabinet.
In addition, its pegboard with holes and hooks makes it more practical, and coupled with the SKÅDIS accessories (various containers and hooks), you can really customize it to your needs. I also love how versatile these things are—you can use them to sort out your pantry, keep your bathroom stuff tidy, or even organize your gardening tools.
Plus, it comes with a stylish wooden handle to easily carry around, and won’t look out of place. A great way to get rid of those messy eyesores around your home.
