If you want to organize your home on a budget, you can always rely on IKEA for affordable solutions. And if you want to maximize your space, or simply don’t want to cover your wall with frames, IKEA’s revamped picture ledge is the perfect option.

The NORDHÄGG Picture ledge is a compact wall ledge that can be used to display photos, books or your favorite items in one place. What’s more, it’s now half price at just $4.99 from $9.99, making it a great back to school purchase for college students.

Display your items in style with this versatile picture ledge. Its slimline appeal makes it ideal for smaller spaces, and has an attractive solid pine design. It’s currently available in a 17 3/4-inch length, and each one can hold up to six pounds.

About the IKEA NORDHÄGG Picture ledge

A revamp from its predecessor the MOSSLANDER picture ledge, the NORDHÄGG is not only cheaper but adds a natural decor touch to any room style.

Made from unfinished pine and exposed screwholes, this allows you to paint or stain the wood to suit your taste and interiors.

Why I love the IKEA NORDHÄGG shelf

There are so many things I like about this picture ledge. Firstly, its narrow, compact size makes it ideal for smaller spaces, without looking like an eyesore.

This is also a great way to store or curate your favorite items such as artwork, photo frames or even books and it even has a special groove to keep smaller frames at the right angle.

I also love how versatile this ledge is to use around the home. You can easily use it as a spice rack or kitchen storage, or even a cosmetics holder/display. And for just $5, I’ll definitely be heading to IKEA to buy one or two.
