Tineco Just Dropped Two New Smart Cordless Vacuums — and They’re Packed With Tech I’m Really Excited About

Tineco just surprised us with not one, but two new smart vacuums: the Pure One S50 Pro and the Pure One S70.
In what the company has called "its next-generation cordless vacuums", the Pure One S Series are designed, unsurprisingly, to clean. But these two new models are packed with impressive future-proof tech that could totally transform your cleaning regimen.
And while they've got big competition from the best vacuum cleaners, they may well have what it takes to find a spot in the ranks, thanks to some innovative features.
The news came yesterday (Aug 26), but you can buy them right now on the official Tineco website, where you can grab the S50 Pro for $419, currently $50 off and the S70 for $459, with a cool $110 off.
The S50 Pro may be 'pro' but it's the cheaper option of Tineco's new smart cordless vacuums. It boasts 200AW powerful suction, a 180-degree foldable tube, a 120-degree headlight to illuminate hidden dust and debris, a smart sensor that boosts suction, ZeroTangle brush to tackle hair and pet fur, and a smart LED screen for real-time status updates.
For the S70, you get a professional cleaning system built into a compact cordless. There's DustSense for suction, LightSense with a wide-angle headlight, EdgeSense for edge-to-edge cleaning and an automatic suction boost, and the ClogLess System comes with an upgraded brush and 219% larger suction to stop, well, clogging. All kitted out for multi-surface cleaning.
What's new with the Tineco Pure One S50 Pro?
So the most obvious thing is that this looks like a lot of other cordless vacuums, heavily inspired by Dyson's early products. But there are a lot of great things that make the Pure One S50 Pro actually stand out.
Alongside 200AW suction, a 180-degree foldable tube and 120-degree green headlight, there's a seriously impressive offering of smart features and versatile attachments with Tineco's new drop.
The ZeroTangle brush is one alluring feature for clearing up hair messes without all the untangling involved. Then, there's the iLoop Smart Sensor that automatically boosts suction when up against different levels of dirt.

But there's two features I really wish my cordless vacuum at home had. Firstly, the ClogLess system gives you a wider tube, enlarged ports and specialized brush design to ensure the larger bits of debris it sucks up don't interfere with your vacuum's overall performance.
Secondly, the smart LED screen takes you through start-up to a real-time status on how much power your vacuum has left. Because honestly, there's nothing worse than finding out you've not got enough power to finish vacuuming a room when you've already started.
But, how does the Pure One S50 Pro compare when sized up against one of its biggest rivals, our favourite cordless vacuum, the Shark Clean & Empty? Well, it's a little more expensive. Around $50-$60 difference, depending on the discounts on offer.
But, when it comes to battery life, the S50 Pure has up to 65 minutes on Eco mode with the ZeroTangle brush and up to 95 minutes with the 2-in-1 crevice brush. A sizeable upgrade to the Shark's up to 40 minutes.
But, we'll reserve all judgment until we get our hands on it for a full review (coming soon).
What's new with the Tineco Pure One S70?
Even though it doesn't have the 'Pro' label, the S70 is actually the more expensive of the two cleaners. But it's still looks to be good value for money because of all the features Tineco has jammed into this modest looking vacuum.
While it boasts the same powerful 200AW suction and 180-degree foldable tube as the S50 Pro, it runs what Tineco is calling an "upgraded 3DSense Pro Cleaning System."
Making up Tineco's system, you get DustSense, which is real-time dust detection that boosts your suction to suit. There's LightSense, with a wider-angle headlight than the S50 Pro, EdgeSense that automatically adjusts your power when near walls and the ClogLess system that has a 219% larger suction inlet area for clog-free cleaning.
With the same impressive battery as the S50 Pro, thanks to an upgraded pouch cell battery, you'll be able to cover a lot of your home without recharging.
And while it's not as light as the Dreame R10 Pro or as powerful as the Dyson Gen5detect, it's packed out with advanced tech that these other cordless models simply don't have.
So, if smart features is on your list of priorities when cleaning your home (as it is for me) then the new Tineco vacuums are an alluring offering.
But, we'll be sure to put them to the test soon, before we give our seal of approval.
