Martha Stewart swears by this exact weeding tool — last year it sold out fast, but now it's back in stock for $24
Need something to help tackle those pesky weeds? When the gardening gloves just aren't cutting it, Martha has a plan
It's officially de-weeding season. It's a job that nobody likes to do, but it's a necessity for a tidy backyard. Because there's no point in investing in high-quality patio furniture, choosing the perfect outdoor cushions, and even ensuring that you've got the best grill around, just to let your garden look untidy from weeds.
Take it from me and tackle them now before it's too late. Don't let them grow wild, as it makes the job twice as hard. You should see my front patio — untameable is an understatement, and I just keep putting it off because truly, I don't have the right gear to get it done fast.
That was until I spotted Martha Stewart's gardening line at QVC. Filled with pretty necessities for any gardener, the weeding tool is truly what my garden toolset had been missing.
It's not too large to store in my busy shed; it's easy to handle and best of all: it's super versatile. So much so that Martha herself owns several; she proudly claims.
Make light work of this back-breaking task with this weeding hand tool. High quality, uniquely shaped, and given the seal of approval by Martha herself, for $24, this is a steal.
So, what exactly is the Martha Stewart weeding tool?
You can find everything from patio furniture to gardening gloves and more in the Martha Stewart Outdoor Living section at QVC.
This cultivator tool is similar to most other handheld ones; however, its versatility makes it stand out and is the real reason Martha loves it so much.
Martha explains that its design originates from Japan and its unique shape allows it to not only dig into the ground, but it can also be used to scrape weeds. It has a sturdy wooden handle which makes it easy to grip tight, too, for when you're working with tough roots or extra dry soil.

Martha continues to add that it's her absolute "favourite hand tool of all", claiming that it's super versatile. "I have one of these in every garden bag," says Stewart to QVC.
How to use the Martha Stewart weeding tool?
Much like any other cultivator tool, this is recommended for use to dig weeds out of soil. Its sharp point allows it to pierce into the ground, whether hard or soft at the time, and to scoop out deep-set weeds with ease.
Thanks to this sharp edge, you can even use this tool between tight paving slabs. It also works wonders in loosening weeds, not only digging them out.
This tool is easy to use one-handed, meaning it doesn't require a lot of elbow work, while it makes a quick job of de-weeding a space.
Once you're finished, go ahead and turn it over to its flat edge and use this to scrape these weeds into a pile. Handy for moving debris across your patio and out of your way, plus it won't damage your floor or surface.
Another way to use it? For seeding! Reviewer Dorothea claims it "works great for weeding and making rows for seeds".
JSYK: It might be worth considering which is your dominant hand, as this tool will be more convenient to use if you are right-handed due to its design and shape.
Don't just take it from us — reviewers love this handy tool, too. "Since receiving this tool I have used it non stop when working in my yard. Works great at up rooting my weeds--worth every cent!", claims shopper FLNonny. Another happy reviewer, glassiegirl, adds, "Where has this been all my life??".
There's more where this de-weeder came from, too, as shopper KS Girl raves, "Best garden tool I own. I won’t buy from anyone else that sells garden tools. Please bring us more Martha!". Yes, you can also buy a Martha Stewart 4-piece Trowel Set from QVC, plus a 6-set of Gardening Gloves, and 3 Garden Soil Scoops.
Would you buy this de-weeding tool for yourself or a friend? It'd make the perfect gift for a budding gardener.
