Formula 1 is approaching the end of the 2025 season, and it looks like big changes are on the horizon, with Lando Norris closing in on his first world title. It’s not just the Drivers’ Championship that’s changing either with U.S. broadcast rights switching from ESPN to Apple TV for the 2026 season.
After producing the F1 Movie (releasing December 12) for fans of the big screen, Apple TV is now bringing the real thing to streaming, with a five-year deal announced back in August.
All 24 races will be available to U.S. motorsport fans, with select races even chosen for free coverage.
When’s the best time to sign up for Apple TV? Right now! Enjoy over 50% off monthly plans this Black Friday.

How to watch Apple TV from anywhere
Unfortunately, Apple TV has only secured rights to F1 in the United States with Sky Sports still broadcasting the 2026 season in the U.K.. But, what if you're visiting a different country from the U.S. and can't access your Apple TV Black Friday deal? You'll need a VPN:
This software sets your devices to appear to be back in your home country regardless of where in the world you are. So, it's ideal for sports fans away on vacation or on business. Our favorite is NordVPN. It's the best on the market:

Boasting lightning fast speeds, great features, streaming power, and class-leading security, NordVPN is our #1 VPN.

Using a VPN is incredibly simple.
1. Install the VPN of your choice. As we've said, NordVPN is our favorite.
2. Choose the location you wish to connect to in the VPN app. For instance if you're in the U.K. and want to view F1 on Apple TV for 2026, you'd select 'United States' from the list.
3. Sit back and enjoy the action. Head to Apple TV and watch the game right now.
