February is here, and Paramount+ has a fresh lineup of movies ready to stream. I’ve gone through all the new releases this month and picked out the standout movies you won’t want to miss.
Like most major streaming platforms, Paramount+ adds plenty of new titles each month, which can make browsing the full list a little overwhelming. To narrow it down, I focused on movies that have earned a 90% or higher rating on Rotten Tomatoes. While a high critic score doesn’t guarantee you’ll love every flick, it’s usually a good indicator of quality.
Here are the top five new movies on Paramount+ this February 2026 with Rotten Tomatoes scores of 90% or higher that are worth checking out.
‘The Godfather’ (1972)
It almost feels unnecessary to introduce “The Godfather.” This is one of the most instantly recognizable movies ever made, with scenes and lines so famous that calling them iconic barely does them justice. What’s truly remarkable about this legendary crime drama is that, despite its immense reputation, it still lives up to every bit of the hype. If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s no time like the present because “The Godfather” remains essential viewing (along with its sequel).
The Corleones are a powerful crime family in post‑World War II New York. Don Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando), the respected head of the family, survives an assassination attempt, prompting his sons to respond to the escalating violence. Michael, the youngest (Al Pacino), returns from military service and initially avoids involvement, but circumstances pull him into the family’s affairs. After he takes decisive action against their enemies, he goes into hiding in Sicily, where he marries. Returning to America following his brother’s death, Michael steps into his father’s role and takes control of the family’s operations.

‘Call Me by Your Name’ (2017)
Timothée Chalamet steadily built his career with roles in TV series like “Homeland” and major movies such as “Interstellar,2” but it was his sensitive and magnetic portrayal of teenage Elio Perlman in Luca Guadagnino’s 2017 romance “Call Me by Your Name” that truly made him a star. This best-picture nominee offers a lush, sun-soaked summer experience, capturing emotions in a deeply genuine way. Chalamet’s performance is extraordinary, and the kind of work that leaves a lasting impression and feels unforgettable across an actor’s entire career.

“Call Me by Your Name” is set in the summer of 1983 in northern Italy, where Elio (Chalamet) is spending the season at his family’s villa. Elio’s father invites 24‑year‑old American graduate student Oliver (Armie Hammer) to stay with them and assist with academic work. Over the course of the long, sun‑drenched days, Elio and Oliver spend more time together, gradually forming a close connection. As the weeks pass, they move from friendship into a deeper, more intimate understanding of each other, leading to a relationship that profoundly changes both of their lives before the summer ends.

‘Us’ (2019)
Jordan Peele’s follow-up to his groundbreaking “Get Out” may not quite hit the same heights, but that’s setting an almost impossible standard, and it doesn’t take away from “Us,” which is a brilliant psychological horror on its own. Peele dedicates much of the movie to a relentless, tension-filled premise that keeps viewers completely captivated, and I can guarantee you won’t be able to look away from the screen. The cast delivers strong performances all around, while the cinematography and super eerie sound design all work together to create an intensely unsettling experience.
“Us” follows Adelaide Wilson (Lupita Nyong’o) and her family — husband Gabe (Winston Duke) and their two children — as they head to their beachside vacation home in Santa Cruz, California. Adelaide, who had a frightening experience there as a child, is uneasy about returning. One night, their peace is broken when four mysterious figures appear in their driveway. The family soon realizes these intruders are disturbing doubles of themselves. Throughout the night, the Wilsons must confront these eerie look‑alikes and fight to survive the violent invasion that threatens their lives.

‘Almost Famous’ (2000)
“Almost Famous” is considered a standout movie and has grown into a cherished classic in both the coming-of-age and music genres. From its release, it earned critical acclaim and continues to be celebrated for its heartfelt story and memorable performances. It’s Hollywood storytelling at its finest, overflowing with emotion, style, energy, and a sharpness that transforms life experiences into monumental moments. If you love music and the glow of nostalgia, this is one movie you won’t want to miss on streaming this month.
Set in 1973, “Almost Famous” centers around 15‑year‑old William Miller (Patrick Fugit), a passionate music fan who unexpectedly lands an assignment from Rolling Stone magazine to interview the rising rock band Stillwater and accompany them on tour. Despite his mother’s concerns, William joins the band on the road, where he interacts with the group, their entourage, and the “Band‑Aids,” including Penny Lane (Kate Hudson). As he travels from city to city, he gathers material for his first major article, experiencing life on tour firsthand and navigating the challenges and surprises that come with it.

‘End of Sentence’ (2019)
Anyone seeking a charming drama with plenty of emotion will likely enjoy “End of Sentence.” Directed by Elfar Adalsteins and starring John Hawkes and Logan Lerman in the lead roles, the movie was entirely shot in Ireland because the landscape and unique feel suited the story perfectly. Even though this drama came and went without much fanfare due to its limited theatrical release in 2019, it still received critical acclaim, and it’s definitely a charming little flick thanks to its characters and the strong acting ensemble.
“End of Sentence” follows widower Frank Fogle (Hawkes), who sets out to fulfill his late wife’s final wish by taking her ashes to a remote lake in her native Ireland. Frank asks his estranged son Sean (Lerman) — just released from prison — to join him on the road trip. Sean initially refuses but agrees after negotiating a deal that includes a promise they won’t see each other again afterward. As they travel, they attend an Irish wake, encounter an old acquaintance of Frank’s wife and pick up a hitchhiker, making the journey more eventful than either expected.
