Whether you’re looking for one of the best Wi-Fi routers for a smaller home or apartment or want one of the best mesh Wi-Fi systems for whole-home coverage, a ton of my favorite Wi-Fi 7 routers are still on sale for Prime Big Day Deals. For instance, you can pick up the blazing fast Asus RT-BE96U for just $369 or the eero Pro 7 in a three-pack for $549 if you’re tired of dealing with Wi-Fi dead zones.
I upgraded to Wi-Fi 7 last year and it’s made a huge difference. Not only are my download speeds faster thanks to Multi-Link Operation which allows multiple Wi-Fi bands to work together simultaneously but I no longer have to worry about latency nearly as much either. As the person at Tom’s Guide that covers Wi-Fi 7, these recommendations all come with my stamp of approval, based on our comprehensive testing and reviews as well as my own real-world experience.
With Prime Big Day Deals ending at midnight tonight, there’s never been a better time to upgrade to a new Wi-Fi 7 router for faster speeds and a smoother experience overall but you’re going to want to act fast to take advantage of these massive discounts.

Wi-Fi 7 router deals
The Archer BE550 is the perfect way to upgrade to Wi-Fi 7 on a budget. This tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router features the same V-Fold design language as the more expensive BE800 but still packs in plenty of ports. There’s a 2.5 Gbps WAN port along with four 2.5 Gbps LAN ports around back and even a USB port for sharing data across your network. The BE550 can reach a max speed of 9.2 Gbps and covers up to 2,000 square feet with a strong Wi-Fi 7 signal.
The Archer BE800 takes things up a notch with faster speeds, more multi-gig Ethernet ports and an LED screen on the front. Along with four 2.5 Gbps LAN ports and a USB port, you also get two 10 Gbps WAN ports, one of which is a SFP+ combo port for Fiber internet. The BE800 can reach a max speed of 19 Gbps and even has a separate network for your smart home devices. In our Archer BE800 review, we were really impressed with its LED screen which can show the weather, the time and even emojis.
The Asus RT-BE96U is one of the fastest Wi-Fi 7 routers to date and it even includes built-in, subscription-free security software as well as parental controls. Around back, there are two 10 Gbps ports (one for WAN, one for LAN), four gigabit Ethernet ports and two USB ports. In our Asus RT-BE96U review, we loved its fast speeds and all of the detailed information available in its app. This one could drop to even a lower price during Prime Big Day Deals though.
If you want one of the best gaming routers with Wi-Fi 7 support, then the Archer GE800 certainly fits the bill. It has a unique design with wings on either side that feature built-in RGB lighting. You can control the GE800’s lighting effects through a button on the front or through TP-Link’s Tether app or even your browser. There’s also a dedicated Game Mode button there too. Around back, there are two 10 Gbps WAN ports one of which is SFP+ combo port for fiber internet, four 2.5 Gbps LAN ports and a USB port.
Wi-Fi 7 Mesh Router Deals
The TP-Link Deco BE25 is a small and unobtrusive, dual-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh kit you can easily find a place for in your home. Despite its more affordable price, this mesh Wi-Fi system comes with almost all of Wi-Fi 7’s best features like support for Multi-Link Operation but you don’t get access to the faster 6 GHz band. Still, the BE23 has two 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports around back and supports over 150 connected devices while covering up to 6,500 square feet with a strong Wi-Fi signal.
The Asus ZenWiFi BT6 is a Wi-Fi 7-powered mesh router that’s packed with features and looks great. This tri-band mesh kit is available in a two-pack that covers up to 5,800 square feet or in a three-pack which covers up to 7,600 square feet. The ZenWiFi BT6 has a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet input port, three gigabit Ethernet ports and a USB port. What’s neat about the USB port is that you can plug in your phone and get all of your devices online using mobile tethering during an internet outage.
The Eero Pro 7 is a Wi-Fi 7-powered mesh kit that’s much more compact than the larger Eero Max 7 and a whole lot cheaper too. Unlike the smaller Eero 7, this is a tri-band mesh router with all of Wi-Fi 7’s best features. Each unit can cover up to 2,00 square feet and supports over 200 connected devices. On the back of the Eero Pro 7, you get two high-speed 5 Gbps Ethernet ports and any of the units can serve as your main router. In our Eero Pro 7 review, we praised this mesh router’s ability to deliver excellent speeds at mid-range distances.
The Netgear Orbi 770 is a Wi-Fi 7-powered mesh kit that can cover up to 8,000 square feet with support for more than 100 devices. It’s packed with multi-gig ports too and you get four 2.5Gbps ones on the main unit. In our Netgear Orbi 770 review, we were very impressed with its performance, particularly at mid-range distances where other mesh Wi-Fi systems tend to fall short. Compared to the more expensive Orbi 970 that will likely be overkill for most people, the Orbi 770 hits the sweet spot for a Wi-Fi 7 mesh kit.
The TP-Link Deco BE67 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7-powered mesh kit that, like the Eero Pro 7 and Orbi 770, hits the sweet spot between budget and top-of-the-line. Each unit can cover up to 2,700 square feet with a strong Wi-Fi signal and they’re also interchangeable. On the back of the Deco BE67, you get a super-fast 10 Gbps input port along with a 2.5 Gbps and gigabit Ethernet port. However, there’s also a WPS button for quickly connecting new devices and a USB port for sharing data across your network.
The eero Max 7 is at the top of eero’s Wi-Fi 7 mesh kit lineup with loads of power and plenty of multi-gig ports. This tri-bad Wi-Fi 7 mesh kit can support more than 250 connected devices while each unit can cover up to 2,500 square feet with a strong Wi-Fi signal. In terms of ports, you get two 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports. In our eero Max 7 review, we loved all the extra smart home features built into this mesh kit including the fact that it can serve as a smart home hub for your other connected devices.
Netgear’s Orbi 970 is the ultimate upgrade for those with large homes that want the best of the best when it comes to a mesh router. This Wi-Fi 7-powered mesh kit can cover up to 10,000 square feet while supporting 200 connected devices. The Orbi 970 also packs in plenty of ports including two 10 Gbps ones and four 2.5 Gbps ports which makes it ideal for high-speed multi-gig internet. In our Netgear Orbi 970 review, we praised this mesh Wi-Fi system’s ability to move data at warp speed at close distances.
