As I write this, I'm listening to Noah Kahan's new album with the Tribit StormBox Micro 3. That's because it's quickly become one of my favorite Bluetooth speakers that can cope with anything I throw at it (including the current 100ºF weather here in the U.K).

It's one of many budget speakers I've come to love after hundreds of hours of testing, and it's reached its lowest price since release for Amazon Prime Day. But it's not the only one — many of the speakers I use regularly have had their prices slashed too.

I've compiled a list of all of my favorite budget here, and they're all under $50 — bargain!

Tribit StormBox Micro 3
Tribit StormBox Micro 3: was $64 now $47 at Amazon

The Tribit StormBox Micro 3 offers an IP68 rating, a companion app for EQ customization, and simple controls that make the speaker a breeze to use. It has 24 hours of battery life and can even be used as a portable charger. But most importantly, the audio performance really is excellent. This is its lowest price since its launch, and it's well worth the money because this thing can get loud without sacrificing the audio quality. It's my go-to for listening to music in the backyard as it can withstand rain, and even holds up well in a ridiculous heatwave, which we're having in the U.K. as I write this.

Tribit PocketGo
Tribit PocketGo: was $29 now $18 at Amazon

I took the Tribit PocketGo on vacation with me to listen to my favorite tracks poolside, and I didn't need to worry about it getting wet. It has a durability rating of IP68, so it can withstand water submersion. It's ideal for adventures, along with military-grade drop protection. After making some minor EQ adjustments in the Tribit app, the speaker sounds great and reaches super loud volumes.

TOZO PE1
TOZO PE1: was $29 now $18 at Amazon

The Tozo PE1 is another reliable speaker for any eventuality. It may be ultra-budget, but that is no comment on how well it performs. It's fully waterproof and comes with a built-in carabiner, making it easy to take with you anywhere. You can use the speaker with the Tozo Signature Sound app to get an EQ to best suit the kind of music you want to listen to.

Anker Soundcore 2
Anker Soundcore 2: was $45 now $31 at Amazon

I had the Anker Soundcore 2 for many years (it was originally released in 2017), but it still manages to hold up well today. Though you don't get the same booming bass as the offerings from Tribit above, the 24-hour battery life means it's one I've always been able to rely on. Just because a speaker is a little older doesn't mean it's actually outdated.
