Fans Make Awesome Street Fighter Short Films
The classic rivalry between Ryu and Ken, realized.
By pure coincidence, this week we have seen two fan-made Street Fighter short films released, both with similar scenarios and settings. Both feature great fighting choreography and completely put Hollywood's Street Fighter film to shame.

Everything was AWESOME in the first clip, except for that last flying kick they did at the same time.. 15 feet apart.
good quality film works.....gj
It must have costed a fortune to make these clips.

i wanted to say that about the first video, but u forgot to mention that the characters don't look like the original and they're too skinny for this kind of fighting !!
Better than the all the new movies the Sci-Fi channel (original) has been putting out.
Solid!
Nice videos. I like first better because it's closer to Street Fighter 2.
Damn good. There were good things about both films, if they took the best parts from both, there would be something perfect.
Man, only enough time right now to watch the first one. That was friggin awesome! Put Hollywood to shame is right! Someone with a friggin brain putting it to work! Awesome!
They should try releasing a whole film on that. see how well it does. I'd buy it.
Pretty neat. Anyone seen College Humor's Street Fighter: The Later Years? That one alone already put Hollywood's Street Fighters to shame, plus it was freakin' hilarious. The best line was Balrog's "Kick, what is kick".
... and they're too skinny for this kind of fighting !!
I hope that was a joke. These guys are in incredible shape, especially considering it's a Youtube video and usually they just use whoever they know, and the average joe is in pitiful shape.
Very nice for just some independent films. I thought the first one was the best. The second would have been pretty good except Ken looked ridiculous. Gee, was that a wig, I couldn't tell.
2nd one was pretty cool too!
Too skinny?? Real fighters need to be agile and don't need to be bulky like hulk. They are in great condition. Great short films, yes.

Um, ever heard of Bruce Lee?
Um, ever heard of Bruce Lee?
Little known fact, Bruce Lee was actually a 6-foot-5 227-pound Mexican wrestler. It was all camera tricks that made him look like a 5-foot-7 160lb Chinese man. Google it.

loooool fail!! guys calm down i just see that the real ryu and ken in the game have big muscles, here all i see is bones! great videos though!!

The Ken in the first video has what I would imagine a real life Ken's muscles would look like.

yeah he's not that bad.. but Ryu?

Interesting. Maybe you or someone who agrees with you should update Wikipedia which states: "While this method of training targeted his fast and slow twitch muscles, it later resulted in weight gain or muscle mass, placing Bruce a little over 160 lb (about 72 kg)."
Folks watch to much UFC. Not every huge muscular guy can fight well. And not every guy that fights well is huge and muscular. Some of the deadliest fighters on earth look small and frail. Think about the Shao-Lin Monks and Kung Fu masters. It's not about being huge. Granted they were in good shape, but that doesn't mean they have to have bulging biceps.
That being said, the guys in the first video looked the part better.
Ah hahah! this is 100x better than the lame chun li movie that flopped in theaters.
Freaking awesome. Both of them.
In the Street Fighter games (especially the latest one) Ryu, Ken and other fighters look like steroid abusers. That can't be good for kids...
HA-DO-KEN!!!
haha awesome that was better than the real movies can we get these guys a movie deal
The way that ken blocked the fireball was so lame though, and he could have just ducked behind a tree or something in the time it took ryu to throw it. Kinda looked like that effect from subzero in one of the mk movies? This whole camera effect looks like m night shamalan made the movie lol! Guess he got tired of making creepy movies that were just weird and instead decided to make sf look a little weird too hehe:-)
Nice work for an amateur. Keep it up guyz and soon you will see progress! BTW, for those who said they're too skinny, try finding your own talent and show what you can do before you whine.
looks cool. i know that the guy who plays ryu doesnt look like hom at all but the ken guy looks prety much like he really would. cool upercut and all and it cant be worst then the crap street fighter movies they realease
It's indeed much better than the more than lousy movie they made of Street Fighter.
So far nothing beats the Streetfighter 2V series and Street Fighter the animated movie.
