Bluetooth: short-range wireless communication technology for data transfer based on device profiles. Examples: telephony, cellular phone, headset, fax and LAN.

cd/m2 Candela per square meter: Unit of brightness projected by a specific source (such as a monitor or TFT display). Typical values are: PDA display: 50 - 90 cd/m2; Notebook display: 100 - 180 cd/m2; Desktop TFT display: 180 - 240 cd/m2.

Jog dial: A dial used on mobile devices to scroll through menus and select functions.

OMAP (Open Multimedia Application Platform): CPU manufactured by Texas instruments for PDAs and Smartphones. Fully compatible with ARM CPUs. Intel's XScale processors are also ARM-compatible.

Secondary battery: The secondary battery prevents loss of data such as contact list or e-mails when the main battery runs out. Its buffers your data until the battery can be recharged.
