The EOS-1Ds Mark III now includes a 3.0 inch live view display that supports real-time composition, focusing and depth-of-field preview. The display also gives you a pretty good idea how your image will turn out.

The display has a 140 degree viewing angle both horizontally and vertically. You can adjust brightness within 7 levels and Canon claims that the display is very easy to see in bright sunlight.

For remote operation, you can connect the 1Ds Mark III to a computer via its USB 2.0 interface. The camera can also be operated remotely at distances up to 492 feet using the optional Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E2A which lets you view images directly off the camera’s sensor in near real-time. Additionally, you can adjust many camera settings quickly and easily.
