Call of Duty Going Future Advanced Secret Space?
Could the next Call of Duty franchises be going into Will Smith territory?
While the future of Modern Warfare is question due to the massive exodus of Infinity Ward employees, Activision isn't being shy about continuing other types of warfare.
Superannuation has spotted a series of domain names registered by the games publisher recently, which provide clues as to where the future of warfare will be headed.
Domain names created earlier this week include Call of Duty Future Warfare, Advanced Warfare, Secret Warfare, and our favorite of them all, Space Warfare. Activision even registered the domains for those titles with "2" and "3" appended at the end of the names in case there will be sequels.
Of course, this doesn't mean that Call of Duty will be headed to Mars anytime soon for Space Warfare (though we'd love to see that, even though we could just play Doom again), as Activision could just be covering its (moon)bases.

gahhh i've been wanting a futuristic warfare series of COD foreverrr. I just think they could pull this off great, especially if reflected somewhat off off battlefield 2142. I just thought 2142 was a great game and did a great job of making futuristic weapons and gadgets. Perhaps not the greatest to everyone else, but i just think it'd be great!
And let us not forget "Call of Duty: Developer Warfare".

Like there aren't enough sci-fi shooters out there. WWII has been done to death as well, why not a Vietnam setting, or why not a WWI setting (that's never been done as far as I know), or just stick with modern warfare (but please return the realism).
