European Nintendo Fans Get Blue Wii November 18

- By - Source : Joystiq

Who wants plain old white or black when there's an option for blue?

Sony's launching a blue version of the PS3 Slim on November 17, and it looks like Nintendo is dabbling in the blue paint, too. The Japanese gaming company this week unveiled a special blue Wii bundle for European customers. The Mario & Sonic at the 2012 Olympic Games Limited Edition Pack features the game, a pale blue GameCube-free Wii, and a matching blue controller.

Nintendo hasn't mentioned anything about pricing, nor has it said whether this will be on sale in North America. However, the bundle is expected to be hit on November 18, so we're hoping we'll find out about pricing, and perhaps additional availability, before then.

give me a deep, shiny blue, possibly black with blue highlights that show when light hits it just right, and i would buy a new one.

Funny thing is, this will sell a bazillion units. Just because is blue. -.-

Wii's hardware is from what, 2001? You have to give them credit man. How come they manage to sell such incredibly outdated hardware in large numbers, is something not even Apple manage to do.
