The Nike Pegasus has been around for over 40 years, making it a staple of most runners’ shoe rotation. It’s a shoe I return to time and time again for easy miles and long runs, and it’s one I often recommend to beginners thanks to its stability and versatility. Whatever you’re training for, if you’ve been waiting to upgrade your running shoes, I’ve found the deal you’ve been waiting for.
Right now, the Nike Pegasus 41 has dropped to $81 from $145 on Nike.com with the code GEARUP, which saves you an additional 20%. The deal is available in a huge range of colors and sizes. The women’s shoe is also discounted from $145 to $87 in the sale here.
The Nike Pegasus 41 is currently on sale for $81 with the code GEARUP, which gives you an additional 20% off the sale price. At the time of writing, it’s available in several colors and sizes in both men’s and women’s sizes.
As mentioned above, I’ve used the Pegasus in my training for the past decade. I’ve run six marathons, and the Pegasus line is often a shoe I’ll fall back on for my easy runs or long runs. Sure, there are bouncier and more exciting shoes on the market, but the Pegasus offers stability and reliability mile after mile.
The Pegasus 41 is one of my favorite iterations of the shoe. It’s an improvement of the Pegasus 40, which, in my opinion, was a little ‘meh’. Nike added its ReactX midsole foam to the shoe with the 41st iteration, giving it more bounce underfoot for a more responsive ride.
And don’t just take my word for it. Our very own 2:25 marathon runner, Nick Harris-Fry, wrote in his Nike Pegasus 41 review, “The Nike Pegasus 41 is a comfortable workhorse running shoe that will suit a variety of runners well. It doesn’t have the liveliest or fastest ride, but it’s well-balanced and can handle a wide range of runs.”
Whatever you’re training for, you won’t get a much better shoe for $80 right now, so grab this while you can.
