Chelsea currently sit top of the Premier League table, having won eight matches and only lost once so far this season. Their most recent victory came against a sluggish Newcastle United at the weekend. The side's Champions League form has also been solid, with two victories and a defeat in three games.

The team's sole Champions League loss came against Juventus in Turin, which is hardly an embarrassing result and won't have worried manager Thomas Tuchel too much. Chelsea are still well-placed to qualify in Group H. In fact, victory here would put them within a single point of qualification.

While Malmo are currently at the summit of the Swedish top flight, the side are unlikely to have much joy against a stacked Chelsea squad. Malmo not only have yet to get a single CL point on the board, but they've also conceded 11 goals and scored none. They are definitely the whipping boys of Group H.

The reverse fixture saw Chelsea run riot with a comfortable 4-0 victory at Stamford Bridge. However, tonight they'll be without many of the players who started in that win. Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner, Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount are all sidelined and won't feature, though Christian Pulisic has returned after a lengthy spell out and is on the bench.

For most clubs, losing so many first-team players would be a potentially season-ruining problem, but for Chelsea, it's much less of an issue thanks to such an impressively deep squad. Even with so many stars missing, Chelsea are still the firm favorites for this match.

Malmo, meanwhile, will be without the injured Jonas Knudsen, Ola Toivonen, Patriot Sejidiu and Felix Beijmo. One player who should be familiar to Premier League fans, though, is Swedish international Martin Olsson, who played for Norwich City and Swansea over a seven-year stint in the U.K. — but he's only on the bench today.

Here's how they line up:

Malmo FF: Dahlin, Ahmedhodzic, Nielsen, Brorsson, Berget, Pena, Innocent, Nanasi, Rieks, Rakip, Colak.

Chelsea: Mendy, Christensen, Thiago Silva, Rudiger, Azpilicueta, Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho, Alonso, Ziyech, Hudson-Odoi, Havertz.

Can Chelsea take another step toward's qualification for the knock-out stages? We'll find out very soon in the Malmo vs Chelsea live stream.
