I found an LG OLED TV on sale for $549 and it feels like Black Friday never ended
The top-value OLED of 2025 is a perfect fit for budget-conscious shoppers
We're bidding adieu to 2025, and even though nearly all of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday TV deals have vanished, there are a few still kicking around if you know where to look. In fact, one of the most popular TV deals just came back around.
The 48-inch LG B5 is just $549 at Best Buy, which is a full $750 off its original price. It's the top-value OLED of 2025, and it just got even cheaper.
Looking for an incredible OLED picture without the high price? The LG B5 is the perfect pick. It's not as bright as higher-end OLED TVs, but you still get to bask in the glory of OLED display technology. Dedicated gamers will appreciate the B5's array of sought-after features, which includes four HDMI 2.1 inputs, support for 4K gaming at 120Hz, VRR and FreeSync.
The 48-inch version of the B5 is a Best Buy exclusive, but here's where you can find the best price on the remaining sizes, all of which are on sale, too:
55-inch: $846 @ Amazon
65-inch: $896 @ Amazon
77-inch: $1,499 @ Best Buy
83-inch: $2,499 @ Best Buy
To understand what makes the B5 one of my favorite OLED TVs of 2025, it's worth taking a look under the hood to see what it's working with. To help you figure out if it's your next TV, here's everything you need to know about the B5.
The B5 may not be as bright or as colorful as higher-end OLEDs (like the flagship LG G5 or any of Samsung's quantum dot-equipped OLEDs), but it's nevertheless an OLED TV, which means it's capable of things that garden-variety, LED-based TVs aren't.
Each of the LG B5's millions of pixels is self-lit, and as you can imagine, this impacts picture quality in many positive ways. For one thing, the B5 is capable of perfect black levels, and since all of its pixels are self-illuminating, the B5 isn't saddled with the light bloom you might notice on LED TVs that rely on a backlight. Even the best Mini-LED TVs on the market can't quite achieve this.
While it's true that pricier OLEDs will net you better brightness than the B5, you're still getting OLED performance. This is one of the reasons why the 48-inch B5 was priced at $1,299 before this deal brought it all the way down to $549.
The LG B5 is capable of things that garden-variety, LED-based TVs aren't.
But my favorite aspect of the B5 is easily its surprisingly thorough array of bells, whistles and enhancements. Impressively, the B5 offers many of the same features you'll find on higher-end OLEDs like the LG C5 and the G5.
This is especially great news for dedicated console gamers, because they're getting basically everything they need for current-gen consoles. It supports 4K gaming at 120Hz and comes with Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), AMD FreeSync and G-Sync compatibility.
Most importantly, all four of the LG B5's HDMI inputs offer HDMI 2.1 compatibility. For a $549, 48-inch TV, that's a whole lot of upside.
Simply put, the LG B5 is one of the best LG OLED TVs you can buy at the moment if saving money is a priority. Don't sleep on this Black Friday-level pricing.
