We know that the iPhone Fold is coming this year, and while we already have a pretty good idea of what Apple will bring to its first foldable, there are still a bunch of unanswered questions. Some of those questions may have just been answered thanks to leaker Majin Bu over on X, revealing some new details about the highly anticipated phone.
The first is that Bu claims to have images of the iPhone Fold's final design, which lines up with everything we've heard so far. Multiple leaks have shown us that Apple should be employing a wider-body design than a lot of other foldables. Even compared to the original Pixel Fold, which was already shorter and wider than most foldables on the market when it was released.

The screen isn't quite square, but it's not far from being one. The camera bump also looks similar to the iPhone Air, which tracks with rumors that the skinny phone will be an inspiration for the iPhone Fold. But unlike the Air, the camera bar does not stretch across the entirety of the iPhone Fold's back, which is probably a good thing.

Bu also posted a bunch of what are alleged to be iPhone Fold cases that seem to corroborate this design. Interestingly, the ring on the back of these cases also seems to confirm that the foldable will feature MagSafe — something we hadn't heard about before.
iPhone users will likely have been expecting this, especially since the Pixel 10 Pro Fold featured the Qi2's MagSafe-inspired magnetic charging. Even if a case leak isn't the most trustworthy of sources, it's good to see a leak suggesting MagSafe will be included. But whether it'll have standard 15W MagSafe charging or the faster 25W speeds isn't clear.

Bu's image dump doesn't confirm any of the actual design specs we've heard about so far, though. Word is that the iPhone Fold's foldable main display will be 7.8-inches in size, while the cover display will be 5.5-inches. That foldable screen is also expected to come with a crease-free display, though so far we haven't actually seen how successful Apple has been in making one.
It's still unclear how thin the iPhone Fold will be, but rumor has it that it will be the slimmest iPhone Apple has ever created. That would make it thinner than the 5.6mm iPhone Air, though we'd hope it isn't a difference of a few millimetres. Since the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is 4.2mm when unfolded, we'd hope Apple would be able to come close.

We're also expecting to see titanium make a comeback in the frame, which suggests we should get the same durability and lightweight design as the iPhone Air. Though we likely won't know for sure until this fall, when the iPhone Fold is expected to be unveiled alongside iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
