Sizes: 6 (twin to split king)

Based on our experience, we award these sheets with an impressive overall 4.7 stars out of 5. They are cool-to-touch, silky soft and easy to maintain, being both machine washable and dryer friendly.

As per our bed sheet testing methodology, we put these sheets through two wash and dry cycles, once at the start of the testing period and once at the end. The sheets felt box fresh and immaculate, even after the second wash.

These sheets are a great option for hot sleepers who crave the softness of silk but require a fabric with more breathability. However, their premium price tag could be a barrier to buying. Are the Cozy Earth Bamboo Bed Sheets worth the money? Here's our review in closer detail.

Cozy Earth Bamboo Sheet Set: Price & deals

The Cozy Earth Bamboo sheet set starts from $258 for a twin/twin XL, while a queen size is priced at $308. Considering average bedding prices, this clearly sits in the premium price category. However, bamboo viscose is incredibly durable, so although these sheets are expensive, they should last for years to come.

In contrast, the Coop Cotton Percale Sheet Set is $169 at Coop Sleep Goods for a twin set while the Utopia Bedding Sheet Set starts at under $15 at Amazon. However, bamboo viscose lasts longer than cotton, so will need to be replaced less frequently.

We've previously seen the Cozy Earth Bamboo Sheet Set up to 30% off during sales, taking a twin down to $180.60 from $258. So it's certainly worth timing your purchase right, such as the upcoming Black Friday sales.

These bamboo sheets also come with generous sleep benefits, including a 100-night trial, 10-year warranty and free shipping. Those are excellent benefits that we would expect from a bed sheet purchase at this price point.

Cozy Earth Bamboo Sheet Set: Design & materials

This premium sheet set is crafted from 100% bamboo-derived viscose, which makes it cool-to-touch, breathable and silky-smooth.

The OEKO-TEX and Standard-100 certified sheets are designed to have an oversized fit for an easy drape over your mattress. The fitted sheet can fit mattresses up to 20 inches deep — which includes even the most luxurious beds. The set also includes a flat sheet and two pillowcases (except the split king size which comes with an extra fitted sheet.)

While the thread count hasn't been specified, the brand acknowledges this comes under the higher range. According to Cozy Earth, they have focused more on creating an ideal combination of fiber, yarn, weave and technology, for making sheets which will get softer with every wash and last for years.

How they feel

In simple terms, the Cozy Earth Bamboo Sheets feels luxuriously silky. As soon as you unpack the sheet set, they feel lusciously soft and extremely smooth.

The sheen faded ever so slightly after two wash cycles, as pointed out by the brand, but the softness remained the same.

As with silk, our tester found the fabric to cause less friction to their skin and hair. However, that slippery feel may not appeal to all sleepers.

Score: 5 out of 5

How they fit

Popping on the Cozy Earth Bamboo Sheet Set on our queen size bed was a sweat-free job, thanks to the oversized design.

The fitted sheets with elastic bands are easy to manage despite the slipperiness, with the labels marking the side avoiding any confusion.

However, because of the flowy texture of the fabric, making your bed can take longer than usual every morning. This is because it tends to move and crease easily in comparison to the crisp and starchy cotton top sheets, which barely shift during the night.

Score: 4.5 out of 5

Temperature-regulation

Our lead tester found the Cozy Earth Bamboo sheets to be consistently cool-to-touch, even after two wash cycles and even during an end of summer heat wave.

As someone prone to feeling the cold even when the temperatures drop slightly, these sheets almost felt too cold. During chillier nights our tester swapped the top sheet for a duvet with a cotton cover. However, hot sleepers (or those who struggle with the occasional hot flash) will appreciate their year-round breathability.

Durability

After two wash cycles and a week of consistent use, I found the Cozy Earth bamboo sheets to retain the freshness, softness and overall feel.

I didn't notice any pilling, shrinkage, wear or tear or loose threads post-wash which proves the brand's claims.

The slight fade of the sheen is something to be expected, as stipulated by the brand, but is almost not noticeable after the first few washes.

Ease of care

When in doubt, always check the care tag. Cozy Earth has advised to wash the Bamboo Sheet Set in a cold cycle with a gentle detergent. Skip fabric softeners and bleach. It is also tumble-dry friendly, but a low heat setting would be the best option.

We did notice that the sheets can get very wrinkly post-wash. However, these wrinkles loosen as the sheets dry. If you're someone who likes their sheets perfectly smooth, the brand recommends you shake the sheets between wash and dry cycles.

Out of 9,591 reviews, 8.9K customers have given it a five star rating on the official website with praises for its quality, lasting coolness and softness.

Around 110 users, on the other hand, went for a two or one star rating highlighting the wrinkling issues our tester mentioned. Some pointed out that the fabric is susceptible to absorb body oils and skincare products, which lead to instant staining.

  • Cozy Earth user rating: 4.9/5 stars (9,591 reviews)

Should you buy the Cozy Earth Bamboo Sheet Set?

Based on our tester's experience, we found the Cozy Earth Bamboo Sheet Set to be a luxuriously cooling options for hot sleepers.

Not only does it look like natural silk, the Cozy Earth sheets also effectively mimic its smoothness, lustre and breathability.

Hot sleepers will find the cool-to-touch feature a blessing, successfully keeping overheating and night-sweats at bay. The fabric is also easy to maintain, as it's both machine washable and dryer-friendly.

The major disadvantage is the price. At $258 for a twin set, the Cozy Earth Bamboo sheet set is a premium investment. However, bamboo viscose is durable, so these sheets shouldn't require replacing as often as other bed sheet materials, such as cotton. The 100-night trial, 10-year warranty and free shipping also sweetens the deal.

Buy it if...
