When it comes to stylish yet budget-friendly home decor and savvy storage, IKEA is always my go-to. And just when you thought its prices couldn’t get any cheaper, the Swedish retailer drops another sale.

IKEA’s summer sale has officially kicked off (yay), with hundreds of items marked 50% off and starting at as little as $3. Better still, if you have an IKEA Family membership, you’ll bank an extra 10% off everything that’s on sale — which is yet another worthwhile perk of becoming a member.

I’ve just spotted some great bargains that I’ll be picking up to upgrade my home this summer. From cushion covers and bedding to stylish storage solutions to keep everything organized, here are my top picks right now.

IKEA SKOGHALL Hook, self-adhesive, chrome-plated
IKEA SKOGHALL Hook, self-adhesive, chrome-plated: $3 at ikea.com

Since I don't have much space for hanging things up, my son often has a cluttered pile of clothes on the floor. These self-adhesive hooks have been super handy. Simply peel-and-stick onto tiles or walls, and it’s sturdy enough for smaller items such as washcloths. With its chrome design, it looks chic and suitable for any bathroom style. Best of all, you don’t have to worry about drilling holes in walls, and they won’t leave any damage, which is perfect for renters.

IKEA SPETSBOJ Table lamp, dimmable
IKEA SPETSBOJ Table lamp, dimmable: was $18 now $14 at IKEA

If you want to illuminate a dark corner or want to add a burst of color to your table, this is a great deal. I like the fact that it's dimmable (just turn the metal shade), and spreads a soft light, both upwards and downwards. It's also easy to operate and looks more expensive than its small price tag.

IKEA DVÄRGSYREN Mirror, oak veneer
IKEA DVÄRGSYREN Mirror, oak veneer: was $39 now $19 at IKEA

I love mirrors. Not only are they a great way to instantly spruce up a room, but they can also make a small space look bigger and brighter. This one has an oak frame that adds a warm and stylish touch, matching nicely with pieces of wooden furniture. It also features a practical shelf for smaller items. And at 50% off, this is a bargain buy. In fact, I may be tempted to buy a few for my home.

IKEA RUNMARÖ Shelf unit
IKEA RUNMARÖ Shelf unit: was $34 now $24 at IKEA

If you have a small outdoor space or patio, it can be tricky to store all your garden essentials or display plants. I love how this plant stand is spacious, versatile and can be used indoors and out.

IKEA TROFAST Storage combination with boxes, gray white/gray
IKEA TROFAST Storage combination with boxes, gray white/gray: was $95 now $74 at IKEA

Short on space and want to maximize on storage? I know I always am! This stylish unit can hold six boxes that can slide in and out with ease. The top holds smaller drawers (42 x 30 x 10cm), with larger bottom drawers to accommodate your items. Plus, it's available in four color variations, ideal for small spaces.
