New on Tubi in September 2025 — all the movies and shows to watch

Fall is officially rolling in, cool nights and changing leaves and all. Tubi is ready with some originals and familiar classics that hit just as hard as the first pumpkin spice latte of the season. And you've probably already had yours, haven't you?

First up is “Pan’s Labyrinth,” Guillermo del Toro’s dark fairy tale that drops a young girl into a war-torn forest maze where a cryptic faun offers dangerous quests and reality is often crueler than monsters.

If apartment life seems too peaceful, “Dark Secret” arrives next to shatter the calm. A couple’s new roommate starts off charming enough, but all that niceness soon turns the small flat into a toxic wasteland of clashing personalities and secrets.

Finally, “Takeout” serves up late-night terror at a roadside diner. Three coworkers suspect their strange customer matches a serial-killer sketch on the radio, so they try to suss out some proof before they end up the next victims.

Tubi's September lineup is anything but mellow. Queue these titles, break out the pants and leggings, and see what's on offer for the month below.

Guillermo del Toro’s classic and terrifying Spanish fairy tale follows young Ofelia (Ivana Baquero) into a crumbling labyrinth where a strange faun promises an escape from her brutal stepfather and war. Each test she faces blurs the line between imagination and the real world until eventually she finds herself coming face to face with eerie creatures like the infamous eyeballs-in-hand monster (Doug Jones) and other monstrosities that cement this movie in your mind — and likely have all these years.

"Dark Secret" follows a couple whose life unravels after they invite a stranger to rent their spare room. Of course, things can never be that easy. Things continue to grow even more tense as new secrets come out and the roommates find themselves questioning what's real and what's not. Starring Kennedy Williams, J.D. Laguerre, and Mikiya Scottia, this slow-burning thriller looks like a seriously scary time that's coming just in time for Halloween.

'Takeout'

"Takeout" is set during a long shift at an overnight burger joint, where fry cook Mae, cashier Tyler, and manager Ramon pass the time with gossip. When an anxious drifter orders a black coffee refill and the radio reports a killer at large, the trio’s boredom turns to suspicion. Convinced the stranger matches the sketch, they hatch a plan to expose him before he disappears into the dark. But the more evidence they find, the more terrified they get. And what if the stranger isn't the killer after all?
