Trying to pick something from Prime Video’s top 10 can be quite frustrating (as is often the case with most streaming services). Just because a show is trending doesn’t always mean it’s actually worth dedicating an entire weekend binge to. As someone who spends way too much time watching and writing about streaming shows, I regularly keep tabs on Prime Video’s most popular titles to see which ones genuinely deserve your time.

This week’s lineup has a few standout picks. That includes a popular romance series still holding strong in the No. 1 spot, a comedy-drama that’s quickly climbing the charts, and the second season of an action-packed spy thriller.

So, if you’re stuck endlessly scrolling through Prime Video wondering what to watch next, I’ve narrowed things down to the three shows in the streamer’s top 10 that I’d recommend starting first this week.

‘Off Campus’

“Off Campus” dropped on Prime Video exactly two weeks ago and is still holding strong in the No. 1 spot. I’ve also seen countless viewers admitting they’ve already rewatched the series at least three times. And I completely understand why, because this romantic drama has some seriously addictive energy. Everyone is hooked right now, especially with season 2 already confirmed, making it even harder to resist. If you’re into yearning, tension, and steaminess, this is one to binge sooner rather than later.

Hannah Wells (Ella Bright) is a music student at Briar University who wants to land a date with the guy she’s been crushing on for months. To help boost her confidence, she reluctantly agrees to tutor Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli), the university’s star hockey player. Garrett then proposes a fake-dating arrangement that benefits them both: Hannah helps him pass class, while he pretends to date her to make her crush jealous. But as the two spend more time together, their arrangement becomes far more complicated.

‘It’s Not Like That’

Watch On

If you’re in the mood for a character-driven family drama, you’ll likely enjoy “It’s Not Like That.” Created by Ian Deitchman and Kristin Robinson (best known for “Parenthood” and “Life As We Know It”), the series follows two closely connected families handling major life changes while trying to hold everything together. The creators have described it as a story about rebuilding life, grace, and finding light after significant loss. Clearly it’s resonating with viewers because it’s quickly climbing the charts.

Pastor Malcolm Jeffries (Scott Foley) is a widower raising three children, and Lori Soto (Erinn Hayes) is a newly divorced mother of two, whose families have been closely connected for years. After Malcolm’s wife passes away, Lori (who was her best friend) steps in as part of their shared support system while both households try to adjust to their new realities. As Malcolm struggles to balance his role as a father and pastor, Lori has to work through co-parenting with her ex-husband David (J.R. Ramirez) while rebuilding her own life.

‘Citadel’

Watch On

“Citadel” is one of Prime Video’s most ambitious franchises, originally conceived as a multi-national “spyverse” designed to expand the story of a central, independent intelligence agency across different countries and cultures. The series follows Citadel, a global agency operating outside the control of any single nation, dedicated to maintaining international security. Season 2 of the main “Citadel” series is now streaming, and there are also several spin-offs worth exploring if you enjoy this world.

Season 2 picks up after the fallout of the original Citadel’s collapse, with former elite agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra) forced back into action. The remaining Citadel network is scattered and operating in secrecy, while the rival organization Manticore escalates its plans through a billionaire, who is linked to a dangerous piece of Citadel-built technology. Mason, Nadia, and Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci) begin tracking fractured intelligence across multiple countries.
