'Big Mistakes'

The newest addition to my round-up is "Big Mistakes," a new comedy/crime thriller from Dan Levy ("Schitt's Creek"), which he co-created with Rachel Sennott ("I Love LA," "Bottoms"). Within days of the show's April 9 premiere, it's already become the second most-watched show on the streamer — and it's worth diving in.

The series introduces us to Nicky (Levy) and Morgan (Taylor Ortega), two hapless siblings who find themselves becoming "the most disorganized duo in organized crime." After a misguided theft for their dying grandmother pulls the pair into the messy world of organized crime, the pair find themselves blackmailed into carrying out increasingly dangerous assignments in this strange new world.

'Something Very Bad is Going To Happen'

Watch On

Haley Z. Boston's horror series "Something Very Bad is Going to Happen" remains one of the most popular shows on the platform, and even as a certified scaredy cat, I'd recommend checking it out.

The series (which was produced by the Duffer Brothers) is pitched as an "atmospheric horror series" that takes us down the aisle alongside Rachel (Camila Morrone) and Nicky (Adam DiMarco), just a handful of days before their wedding day... but as that title suggests, it's going to be anything but happily ever after.

Five days before the wedding, they set off on a road trip to Nicky's family vacation home, and Rachel starts feeling paranoid that, yes, something wrong is going to happen, and the scares soon start to pile up (both for Rachel and for viewers).

'XO, Kitty'

"XO, Kitty" season 3 premiered at the start of the month, and fans of the "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" have kept it in Netflix's charts ever since. The third season sees Kitty (Anna Cathcart) returning to Kiss for her senior year, and she has big plans to make it a perfect year. Those plans include making memories with her friends, growing closer to her relatives in Korea, making some decisions about her future and defining her relationship with Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee) — but she soon finds herself having to learn to embrace the unexpected.

In our "XO, Kitty" season 3 review, writer Josh Bell said the new season "rebounds" from "a somewhat disappointing second season," adding: "The third season of “XO, Kitty” continues the upbeat storytelling and engaging character dynamics of the previous seasons, with a renewed focus on the setting at an international school in Seoul."
