Super Bowl 2026 is over, and it's a bad day to be a Patriots fan. Good thing I'm not one. The Seattle Seahawks stomped the New England Patriots 29-13 in a game that, let's face it, was pretty much over by the time Bad Bunny blew us away with this year's Super Bowl halftime show.
But we all know why you're really here anyway: so you don't miss any of the most talked-about ads. While some are engineered to make you laugh, inspire you, or give you more nightmare fuel, others are trailers meant to get you hype for the biggest movies coming in 2026. Well, almost all the biggest movies — we didn't get any new first looks at what Marvel has coming.

Don't expect another look at 'The Odyssey'

It's shaping up to be one of the most stacked ensembles ever to grace the big screen, with Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, and more bringing one of the most iconic stories in history to life. Rumor is we're not expected to get another peak at "The Odyssey" today, but like Penelope, I'm holding out hope.
New 'The Super Mario Galaxy Movie' trailer?
We're set to return to the Mushroom Kingdom on April 1, and the Super Bowl is the perfect chance to show off another look at "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie." Illumination released a short new teaser on Friday with some nifty new footage, including a hungry Yoshi devouring a Magikoopa and a shot of Rosalina (Brie Larson) and Bowser Jr. (Benny Safdie) going head to head.
Amazon's bite-size AI horror movie
Amazon’s Super Bowl spot taps into collective AI anxiety by framing Alexa as the villain in a commercial that plays out more like a horror movie. Chris Hemsworth becomes convinced the smart speaker his wife just brought home is plotting his demise, and spins up increasingly unhinged scenarios where Amazon's AI-powered chatbot does exactly that. Thankfully, Alexa ends up being far more helpful than homicidal.
No Marvel spots this year
Marvel Studios is sitting out the Super Bowl this year. While it's a disappointing turn for anyone excited for a new look at "Avengers: Doomsday," it's not exactly surprising. Marvel kicked off the movie's marketing campaign pretty early, confirming the return of Chris Evans with a teaser back in December. Four "Doomsday" teasers have come out so far, and Marvel's decided that's enough for fans to chew on for now.
Pepsi takes aim at Coke Zero and Coldplay concert cams
Malcolm here taking things over for a few hours. I'm still getting up to speed with all the latest Super Bowl 2026 commercials, but so far, this Pepsi ad featuring Coca-Cola's iconic polar bear is my favorite. It also features a cameo by Taika Waititi, who directed this 45-second commercial.
Kellogg's is absolutely filthy for this one
Kellogg's Raisin Bran can be a delicious part of your breakfast (I'm personally a fan), but the bran flaks are good for ... well, lets just say they keep you regular.
So the cereal goliath leaned into it's health benefits with a commercial filled with inneundo to going number two, hosted by "Bran ambassador" Will Shat (William Shatner). I counted eight instances of potty humor; see if you can spot them all.
'Scream 7' Big Game trailer is already live
"Scream 7" has dropped it's official Super Bowl trailer ahead of the Big Game. While other trailers for other movie have arrived this week, this is the only one we can definitively say is the same one you'll see during Super Bowl LX.
In this installment of the "Scream" franchise, Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera are out, and Neve Campbell is back in, reprising her role as Sidney Prescott. She's been living a quiet life in her new hometown of Pine Grove, Indiana, but now there's a new Ghostface on the loose, and they want Sidney to suffer.
Taylor Swift isn't making a Super Bowl halftime show appearance ... but Taylor and Swift are

'Disclosure Day' is my most anticipated Super Bowl movie trailer
"Disclosure Day" is one of my most anticipated movies of 2026, and it's now my most anticipated movie trailer. That's because this sci-fi movie from Steven Spielberg already dropped an official teaser trailer at the beginning of the year. So it's unclear whether the rumored Super Bowl 2026 appearance will be a re-airing of that first trailer or a brand-new trailer we haven't seen yet.
If you haven't seen the first trailer, this movie stars Josh O'Connor as a man who has discovered that aliens exist and are here on Earth. He plans to show the entire world on a single day all the evidence he's found, setting up a potentially epic moment. The cast for this movie is loaded, and includes Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo and Emily Blunt, who it appears might be one of the aliens.
Make sure to mute Alexa during this Super Bowl ad
You're going to want to turn Alexa off on your Amazon devices during this Super Bowl commercial for two reasons. First, you don't want Chris Hemsworth's wife saying "Alexa" to wake up all your devices. Second, you definitely don't want your AI assistant to learn all the ways it can kill you that are covered in this nearly two-minutes-long ad.

The plot of the film, which stars Emily Blunt, James O'Connor and Colin Firth, has been kept under wraps, and the trailer shows several cryptic scenes like a moose in a child's bedroom, Blunt's character shapeshifting (maybe?), and something huge crashing from the sky. It looks weird, and I'm here for it.

I felt my mama's spirit coming through when the Backstreet Boys sang a reimagining of "I Want It That Way" in a T-Mobile ad this Super Bowl. They were her favorite band, and she would have been screaming at the TV to see her favorite, Howie Dorough, giving one fan a heartfelt solo.

Matthew McConaughey tries to convince Bradley Cooper an elaborate conspiracy theory that football exists to sell food in this Uber Eats spot. Certain player names do suspiciously sound like food. Personally, I'm hungry for class consciousness.

The most tone-deaf commercial of this year's Super Bowl comes courtesy of the Blue Square Alliance Against Hate. I'll let this baffling PR decision speak for itself.
Universal
Between Nintendo Land and the How to Train Your Dragon land, Universal is really beating Disney at its own game these days. This year's Super Bowl ad spotlights the best its Orlando parks have to offer. Its title, "Lil' Bro," is sure to raise an eyebrow or two. I guess it's progress?
Halftime's here
The Seattle Sea Hawks are off to a strong start, leading 9-0 after pummeling the Patriots in the first half. Bad Bunny fans are eager to see what the Puerto Rican superstar has planned for the Apple Music halftime show, which is kicking off now.

Novartis had a cheeky prostate cancer awareness spot titled “Relax Your Tight End,” featuring NFL legends like Rob Gronkowski, Tony Gonzalez and Bruce Arians. It's exactly what it says on the tin, a campaign that encourages men to get screened sooner rather than later.
Poppi
A professor transforms into Charlie XCX and "Bottoms" writer and star Rachel Sennott falls from the ceiling in Poppi's Super Bowl spot that comes squarely for the alphabet mafia. Because we all know hot girls have tummy issues.
Pringles
Don't have a Valentine? Build one out of Pringles! That's what Sabrina Carpenter does in this light-hearted Pringles spot, and hell, maybe she's on to something.
Peacock
The Super Bowl is feeling more and more like a hostage situation to show off programming for whichever of the best streaming services is this year's host. If I have to sit through another commercial for the "Ted" TV show, I'm going to lose it.
Tree Hut
Tree Hut riffed on the iconic "1984"-inspired Apple commercial with its Super Bowl spot. A warehouse filled with skincare influencers hawking "holy grail" products like robots turns into a girl power free-for-all after one brave soul chucks a tub of sugar scrub at the powers that be.
Hellmann's
The way "Brooklyn 99" star Andy Samberg sings in lowercase "I was born in this deli" cracks me up. I swear I've seen this Hellmann's ad about five times now over the course of writing about the Super Bowl this weekend, and good ol' "Meal Diamond" gets me every time in this mayonnaise anthem for the unmelanated. Sing it with me y'all: Bah bah bah~
Hims & Hers
Hims & Hers ditches the feel-good Super Bowl fare for a middle finger to the rich and America's healthcare system. Narrated by rapper Common, the commercial dramatizes a world where the ultra‑wealthy live go to freakish lengths to live forever while you and me get left to rot. It shines a light on how proactive, personalized care too often depends on wealth.
