With gaming laptops getting more expensive due to the RAM crisis, finding deals is more important than ever. To that end, I’ve just found a gaming laptop deal that will save you almost $1000.

Right now, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is $850 off at B&H Photo. Though $2,099 isn’t exactly cheap, saving nearly $1,000 isn’t too bad. This is especially true given this gaming laptop’s fantastic specs. If you’re looking for a portable rig to weather the RAMageddon storm, this is the machine for you. Lenovo Legion Pro 7i: was $2,949 now $2,099 at BHPhoto

This Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is a slick gaming laptop powered by an Intel Core Ultra CPU, 32GB of RAM, and a 2TB SSD. You also get an RTX 5070 Ti GPU and a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 OLED display with a refresh rate of 240Hz, so you can play the best PC games at great framerates.

This Lenovo Legion Pro 7i has everything you’d want in a gaming laptop. It packs an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU, an Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti GPU, a generous 32GB of RAM, and 2TB of SSD storage. As this is an RTX 50-series laptop, you can get better gaming performance by enabling DLSS, which has been updated to DLSS 4.5. A relatively mid-range gaming laptop like this greatly benefits from Nvidia’s frame-boosting and upscaling tech, so you definitely want to utilize DLSS.

Then we have the 16-inch 2560 x 1600 OLED panel, which will help the games you play look their best. They’ll also run buttery smooth thanks to the 240Hz refresh rate. I haven’t tested the OLED on this specific unit, but as someone who will always champion OLED screens, I can tell you that having one on this laptop is a huge bonus.

One potential downside is that at 14.3 x 10.8 x 1.05 inches and 5.9 pounds, this is one large and heavy gaming laptop to carry around comfortably. Thankfully, this is offset by the great port selection, which includes a pair of USB-C ports, three USB-A ports, an HDMI port, an Ethernet port, and a headphone jack.

At $850 off for a gaming laptop with specs like these, it’s one of the best deals I’ve seen this week. Considering how prices for electronics and components will likely continue going higher for the foreseeable future, you should seriously consider getting this Lenovo Legion Pro 7i while it’s at this reduced price.
