With the price of gaming hardware going up seemingly every week, finding a good laptop deal is more crucial than ever. To that end, I just found an excellent RTX 5070 Ti gaming laptop on sale for a sizable discount.
Right now, the MSI Vector 16 HX is on sale for $1,499 at Best Buy. While $1,499 isn’t exactly cheap, it’s a decent price for what this machine has to offer. If you’ve been looking for an RTX 50-series gaming laptop, here’s why you should consider getting the MSI Vector 16 HX.
This is a great price for an RTX 5070 Ti gaming laptop, and the MSI Vector 16 HX AI certainly impresses. It sports an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX CPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. It also features a 16-inch 1920 x 1200 144Hz display.
The MSI Vector 16 HX has everything you’d need to have a good time playing the best PC games. This configuration features an Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, an Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. While you might not be able to play graphically demanding games at 4K resolution and maxed out settings without huge performance drops, you should be able to play at 1080p and medium settings without a problem. This is especially true when you enable DLSS 4 to help boost the frame rate.
The 16-inch LCD screen is arguably the least exciting aspect here, but its 1920 x 1200 resolution and screen size are sufficient to show everything in clear detail. Given how the resolution tops out at 1200p, you won’t want to raise a game’s resolution beyond that, especially if you want to maintain better performance. You also get a 144Hz refresh rate, which ensures a relatively smooth viewing experience.
You’ll find a healthy amount of ports here. This includes two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, an Ethernet port, an SD card slot, an HDMI port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. With so many ports, you should be able to connect an external monitor and peripherals if you want to use the Vector 16 HX as your main computer at home. In terms of connectivity, this laptop supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth.
Thanks to everything the MSI Vector 16 offers, it’s a solid option for anyone looking for an RTX 50-series gaming laptop. I’m not sure how long this deal will be live, so you may want to take advantage of it now before it ends.
