The Nothing Headphone (1) are weird. They look weird, they sound weird, and they're filled with weird features. I say that with affection — I actually really like the Nothing Headphone (1) now, thanks to some big improvements that Nothing has made since their initial release.

Now, you can get your hands on a pair of Headphone (1)s for a whole lot less. The Headphone (1) are just $239 at Amazon, after a $60 discount. That returns them to their lowest price. The perfect way to start the year off.

They're a bit weird, but they're still a solid option if you're looking for some headphones in 2026. They're reasonably comfortable, feature a good 80 hours of battery life, and thanks to some software updates, their sound is good too. They might look divisive, but get them on your head and you're sure to enjoy your time with them.

Nothing doesn't make 'normal' things. It wants to undercut rivals' prices with fully featured, well-made and specced devices that have their own unique look. The Headphone (1) are filled with that personality in spades, down to their see-through cassette-like shells and flat, felty protective case.

Once they're on your head, the uniqueness continues. The control method, a series of buttons, switches, and scroll wheels, is unlike anything else on a pair of headphones. It's very intuitive, too, and you'll be skipping, playing and pausing without a moment's thought soon enough.

While the sound at launch wasn't my absolute favorite thing about the headphones, it's since been improved by some useful software updates. Audiodo audio tuning is now on board, changing the sound to the frequencies that you can hear so that they sound good for everyone. The EQ sharing feature means there are plenty of options, should you want to see how everyone else is tuning their headphones as well.

Battery life is very solid, with 80 hours of ANC off time. Weirdly, that drops to 35 hours when you turn the ANC back on. Still good, but not as good. ANC does a great job of keeping unwanted distractions at bay, and there's even spatial audio should you want to dip your toes into the surround sound pool. I'm not a huge fan, but your mileage may vary.

Crucially, they're now much cheaper than the best headphones they're aiming to undercut. This price makes them half the price of the Sony WH-1000XM6 and the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphone Gen 2, and even cheaper than the WH-1000XM5. There's a lot to like here — particularly that reduced price. So snap them up quickly because it looks like there are only limited quantities!
