For the non-sporty viewers, the Super Bowl is all about the half-time show and the TV commercials. At nearly $3 million per 30-second spot, advertisers take the American sporting event of the year as a serious competition in of itself. Here are our faves.

What about the dickhole Ameritrade babies? The Denny's ones sucked.
I'm glad to see none of the Bud Light commercials making the list (and not seeming to make anyother list). The "Be a Dick for Bud Light" theme got old real quick.
I'd have to say the highlight of the Superbowl this year was the Superbowl. The commercials overall were good but it was a very exciting game.
I really enjoyed the Dorito's commercial where the little boy slaps the new boyfriend. I think it was my favorite.

I know it was really early on but did someone forget the Betty White & Abe Vigoda Snickers commercial?
Yeah, the Betty White Snickers commercial was EXCELLENT! I didn't think too much of the Doritos one, though.

of Beer.

I liked that one as well, but it is an inside joke for those that watch the show. For those that don't watch, they most likely didn't understand it.

Dodge Charger and Google were outstanding. Someone put real effort into those.
Audi Green Police was good, even though its message is bogus.
VW Punchdub also good.
The rest looked like a rookie marketing exhibition.

Troy Polamalu as the groundhog completely earned the #1 spot in my mind.
My top three didn't even make this list...
1. Troy Polamalu ground hog
2. Brett Favre MVP
3. Dorito's slapping kid
I thought the Brett Favre one was hilarious. I get really annoyed by his waffling but his Sears commercial and now that shows me that he can at least enjoy a little humor at his own expense. I laughed for a while after that one.
Not very impressed with the ones posted, but glad someone posted the Dorito Dog =)
