Samsung Advances 16-inch Full HD Notebook Panel Shipments To Acer
In order to cope with Acer’s upcoming launch of 16- and 18.4-inch Full HD (FHD) notebooks, Samsung Electronics, the panel supplier of Acer’s FHD notebooks, is said to be advancing its shipments schedule, according to industry sources.Currently Samsung is the only panel maker capable of producing 16-inch FHD panels, with other panel makers likely to begin deliveries in the third quarter of 2008.
