RIM Q3 Earnings More Than Double
BlackBerry smart phone maker Research In Motion said Thursday its fiscal third-quarter earnings rose due to strong uptake of the company’s products and services in the business and consumer user market segments. For the quarter ended Dec. 1, Canada-based RIM earned $370.5 million, or 65 cents per share, compared with $175.2 million, or 31 cents per share, in the same quarter last year.
