And It Sounds Good Too
5. And It Sounds Good Too
Creative Labs ships the MuVo TX with new earphones which are the same ones supplied with more expensive models like the MuVo². This is somewhat unusual attention to quality, though mind, it's all relative! Compared to the average earphones supplied, these are good, but way below a Sennheiser MX500. Instruments lack presence, the sound is not full enough and the trebles are imprecise.
The musical quality of the MuVo TX is as good as its predecessor: true, natural and with no loss in any of the pitches. The sound image is neutral and this means you can fine-tune it with the equalizer to suit the type of earphones and music. There's nothing particular to criticize here then. If you play a lightly compressed MP3 file, the fine details of music with widely ranging intensities, like an aria, are all preserved. Playback is not polluted by any interference or crackling, proving that circuits like the analog converter are well made.
