Amid economic uncertainty in the US market, some Taiwan-based home appliance makers including Kolin, Teco Electronic & Machinery, and Tatung will not receive as many LCD TV OEM orders as expected in the second quarter, according to today’s Chinese-language Commercial times. Kolin also trimmed its shipments goal for this year from 350,000 units to 230,000 units, while Teco will have problems achieving its shipment goals of 600,000-700,000 units for this year, according to the report.
