Now we can ask if there is there any difference in performance between a 32 bit application run on XP Pro X64 and on XP Pro X32 installed on the same computer? The chart below shows the results of running the 32 bit version of PTv6 on the MSI MS-1029 notebook with Windows XP Pro X64 installed and then with XP Pro X32 installed. I promised you a few comments on the differences between running 32 bit PTv6 on XP Pro X64 and XP Pro X32 on the same 64 bit notebook. While running the 32 bit app on X64 offers a few minor gains, it's safe to say that neither OS version offers any serious advantage over the other when both are installed on the same 64 bit computer.
