9. Earpiece With Good Sound And Stable USB Cradle

Befitting a device with the trendy-sounding moniker "Mobile Media Companion," a pair of nice-sounding Plantronics earbud headphones come with the rx3715.

Good sound while on the road, too

The device docks snugly into a stable, non-slip USB docking station. Once in the cradle the iPAQ rx3175 seems to like it there so well that it takes more than one hand to get it to come along with you on the road. The device can only be "persuaded" to come along by bringing a second hand into play.

A stable, but too-snug USB cradle

You do not absolutely have to take the cradle along when traveling, as the iPAQ can also charge directly using the power adapter. Synchronization via Bluetooth is possible while on the road.

The protective leather slip-case included is not very practical but does fulfill its primary purpose.

The protective slip-case is neither pretty nor practical, but it does get the job done

An oversized panel on the back opens up on the device's battery.

A replaceable 1440 mAh battery power source

As we will soon see, owners of the iPAQ rx3715 only seldom are inconvenienced by having to replace the battery. Thus the need for investing in a 2880 mAh high-capacity battery for $130/€150 is only limited.
