2. The 1.2 Megapixel Digital Camera

The lens of the 1.2 megapixel camera is located on the back of the casing.

Say cheese!

The camera is operated using a push-button found on the left hand side of the casing. The camera really only consists of a lens, a CMOS sensor and the camera interface controlled by the Samsung S3C2440A processor. Indeed, the PDA's CPU, or more precisely the S3C2440A application processor, takes over the entire job of photo processing, from shooting to color space conversion on down to coding in the desired format.

Push-button photos

Operating the camera program is intuitive and is not significantly different in its functions from a conventional digital camera. For example, this PDA camera likewise features a movie/still image mode, a zoom function and a self-timing delayed shutter release.
