Our benchmarks focus on determining 3D performance. After all, this is supposed to be the chip's main selling point.
Since the display of the Targa Visionary XP10 only supports resolutions up to XGA, all tests at SXGA and UXGA were conducted on an external monitor. To prevent the RAMDAC from overloading under this strain, we deactivated the integrated TFT display during these benchmark runs.
For the battery rundown tests, the display brightness was set to 100 candelas per square meter.
