11. The Build

Putting all the parts into the Silverstone SST-LC16B-M case was straightforward and easy.

With the SST-LC16B-M's top cover and drive racks removed, I decided not to add fans in the front of the case to try to keep the noise low. Fortunately, this did not cause any performance problems.

The motherboard and power supply are installed.

The motherboard and power supply are installed. Note that the exhaust fans are placed next to the CPU to pull the heat out of the case and the power supply has a vent for the outside of the case for cold air intake.

The drives are installed.
