SYSmark 2004 SE - Conclusions
The SYSmark 2004 SE test results show that a mobile workstation can easily keep pace with the typical requirements of end consumers or professional users.
As with MobileMark 2005, the results here must be interpreted while considering the fact that this test was performed in the conventional manner using the native screen resolution. While "only" 1 to 1.5 million pixels need to be moved around on the other laptops, the NW8240 has to deal with almost 2.2 million pixels. At first glance, the Compaq NW8240 may not appear to be particularly fast, but given its high screen resolution, you can see that its performance is in no way inferior to that of the top-ranked LG LW60.
