Design And Finish

(Score: 3.5)

Samsung, like Philips, uses all plastic, but all plastics are not created equal. The ones used in the Samsung LN-R328W are of very high quality. The black-lacquer finish is very classy, though you'll have to take care not to scratch it.

Ergonomics

(Score: 4)

The ergonomics are very good. The remote control is simple and effective and the on-screen display lets you find what you need quickly.

Connectivity

With its HD-Ready Label, the LN-R328W naturally has a YUV connector, but also digital connectivity in the form of HDMI. VGA is also available for connecting a PC and obviously there are additional connectors such as Cinch and S-Video.
