Confirmed: Xbox Dashboard Update Coming December 6
Microsoft has confirmed that its Xbox 360 dashboard update will arrive at the beginning of next month.
Microsoft's Xbox 360 Dashboard update has been a long time coming. We feel like we've been talking about the upcoming changes and improvements forever. However, today, we finally have a date for the launch. Though October brought rumors of a Black Friday launch, Microsoft has today confirmed that the new Dashboard will officially launch on December 6.
"Console owners around the world will feel like they have a new Xbox," Microsoft said today. "The new dashboard is built from the ground up to take full advantage of voice control. Users will be able of effortlessly navigate through their favorite entertainment on Xbox 360 using voice or gestures with Kinect for Xbox 360."
The update is set to deliver a newly designed user interface (dashboard), expanded voice control with Kinect, and the first group of new entertainment custom applications.

This is the fall update. It's just been pushed back again.
I'd be lying if I said this didn't excite me. I've been using the Kinect to interact with my Xbox, but it left quite a bit to be desired. I hope this addresses that!

What I meant by that is that they are having another remake of the dashboard. First they had the blade version at launch. Then they made the NXE. Then the white NXE and now this one
Lol oops XD I commented on toastninja17 when I meant to comment on aftcomet
Finally! Was wondering when they were going to do the update. Two more weeks then!

XBOX360 the Firefox of Dashboard Updates!
I can't wait for soldier37 to tell us how the xbox and other consoles sucks compared to his 30' 2560 x 1600 IPS panel using a single GTX580 3Gb, 2600k @ 4.5, 8Gb ddr 3, bla bla bla...
What needs to happen is removal of the crapbox for good no further updates needed. Outdated crap!
