"Wii Fit Girl" Gets Over 3M Views On YouTube
There are tons of videos floating around the net in relation to the newest Wii game, Wii Fit. However, not many have gotten quite the reaction than what is being dubbed as “the Wii Fit Girl” video.
Like we said, there are countless videos of guys and girls using their newly acquired copy of Wii Fit, working out in front of a video camera. This is exactly what the video entitled “why every guy should buy their girlfriend a Wii Fit” portrays. A young woman using her Wii Fit to do some hulahooping in her living room.
Nearly three and a half million people all over the world have seen 22 year old Lauren Berant’s underwear-clad behind and it’s all thanks to her boyfriend who filmed her shaking it in front of the telly.
Giovanny Gutierrez filmed her and then posted the video on YouTube because he thought it was proof of why you should definitely own a Wii Fit, or at least, why your girlfriend should own one. The video has been seen by millions and it probably wouldn’t be thought of as more than a cheeky boyfriend filming his girlfriend if Gutierrez wasn’t an advertising executive at Tinsley Advertising by trade.
Depsite the fact that Gutierrez says the video is a personal clip and is in no way work related, a lot of people seem to think it is a viral ad campaign from Nintendo.
In an interview with the latimes, Gutierrez says that his girlfriend had not given him permission to put the clip YouTube and when she did find out she was really, really mad.
"She was FURIOUS. She called me on the phone screaming her head off and then hung up on me. But now [she] finds herself actually laughing about it and enjoying her 15 minutes of fame."
