Nintendo Launching a Black Wii This Summer

When the limited edition Resident Evil 5 red Xbox 360 was announced you guys had mixed opinions as to whether or not you actually liked it. So how about a red DSi, or better, a black Wii?
Nintendo didn’t say anything about a new black Wii at E3 because (for now at least) it’s only going to be available in Japan. Kotaku reports that starting August 1, Nintendo will start selling a black version of its oh so popular console, along with matching accessories including the Wiimote, Classic Controller, and Classic Controller Pro.
It might be kind of pointless but it looks a lot slicker than the white version so we’re hoping it makes its way over here sooner or later. The company is also launching a red version of the DSi on July 11. Again, Japan only, and no mention of any plans to release it in any other region. Boourns.

Getting the paint to stick to the nunchuck cable or the wrist restrain may prove more challenging than you think. Nevertheless, let me know how that works out for you!

that's just matter of opinion though, I don't like how the xbox elite looks in black.
I thought the wii was going to come out in black when it launched, was looking foreward to it. I dunno I'm used to the white wii and nintendo's mac-like white on their consoles so it's fine in white to me now

Yawn, they do realize everyone already has a Wii? Not to mention the console not looks like it's to be taken seriously but still just has kiddie games for the most part.
Hey cool, you painted it black...where's the Wii HD? This isn't newsworthy nonetheless E3 worthy. Nintendo has always had this as part of it's strategy, since Gameboy Color, and fanboys always run out to get the LIMITED EDITION special color. Stop being sheep, it still plays the same.
I have honestly been waiting to buy the wii until it came in black. It better make its way over here pronto.
