Kevin Bacon As Kevin Bacon Fan in Google TV Ad
Logitech has turned to Kevin Bacon to help shift its Google TV Revue boxes.
Logitech has had some pretty weird ads for Google TV, so it's not really surprising that the company is breaking out the big guns for the latest advertisement. What better way to erase the memories of truly creepy commercials than adding a celebrity to your campaign?
Logitech's latest commercial stars Kevin Bacon and it's definitely not as creepy as a TV with a single, giant eye sneaking up on an unsuspecting teenage girl in her bedroom. Still, it is Kevin Bacon playing a Kevin Bacon fan, so that in itself is a little weird.
Check it out below and let us know what you think!

I LOL'ed.
I love Kevin Bacon now!
Love the Termors quote.
Great movie; "UZI4U" license plates and all.
Toms, where's the full screen button on the player? It's getting tiresome having to go on youtube for something you can embed.. From now on I'm going to spam similar comments on every article containing youtube videos
I wonder if Google gets to approve Logitech's ads...
luc2k, who the hell cares?
I do. Do you consume all your media on cellphone screens?
luc2k, there is nothing that tom's can do about this issue. So stop complaining about it. its just 1 extra freakin click! No need to f*** up the comments section because your too lazy to click to youtube!
Anyways pretty awesome ad, I liked it... still indeed kinda strange though
he looks different without his usual hair style

... and I'll send you on a holiday ... thats modspeak for ban.
Here at TG we will tolerate quite a bit but not spam.
Please try to be positive or funny ... either will do.
How can I be positive about this, on all the sites I've seen the youtube player embeded, this is the only one that doesn't display that button, and it's not like this is rocked science. And funny, it's a technical shortcoming. Sure the video is funny, but that comment goes on youtube, where I can see KB hair implant.
And you are aware that the word spam has more meanings right like canned meat, unsolicited messages & links (the bots sure are eager to please) and repetitive messages. But in my case means one message/article, unless someone wants to continue the discussion.
And hang on to the ban hammer, because I haven't broken any rules as far I can tell.
I'll I want to say right now is, "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooo".

Is it REALLY that important? I would say "no-one else cares", but I'm not a fan of group mentality, so that argument is moot. If you must stand out though, make it for something worthwhile instead of something inconsequential.
Theeehee, Bacon. It's funny because his last name sounds like food.
Kevin Bacon should have advertised Fermi.
If Kevin Bacon was Canadian would he become Kevin Canadian Bacon ?
No one gets paid for these jokes
Bacon makes everything better!
I love this video! LOL

That's right, it's compuder science!
*crosses fingers* lolol

Here's instructions for the slow folk out there...
-Right click on the embedded video
-Click on "Watch on Youtube"
-Hit the full screen button
Is it really that hard for your fat fingers to do that simple task?
Now back on topic, I thought that was Kevin Bacon playing the fan. Definitely a good commercial, good to see Bacon has a sense of humor too.
I just seen this commercial a few hours ago and it took me a second but once I figured out that is was actually Kevin B., I thought it was pretty funny.

You whine more than my 3yo niece....
We have to manually remove the spam at present ... it is tiring.

Tom is a harsh master ... keeps us mods locked up in a bunker and feeds us kibble and water.
He has the one ring ... I shouldn't say any more ...
Be merciful on us?
He's always had a great sense of humor..
Mmmmmmmm, sorta tastes like Kevin Bacon......amirite????? Anyone, anyone?

For all the smartasses, who said I'm lazy and give instructions on how to view, know that I do that always. I guess I must apologize for asking for something that will improve user experience on the website, so sorry for not being as backwards as some of you.

No worries luc2k.
We never said you were lazy ...
/uses windscreen wiper to clarify point.

Asking politely is one thing, demanding and threatening to spam the site if you don't get your way is quite another.
Now please, can we get back to talking about Kevin Bacon again?
canadian bacon.... LMAO.!
Love all the Tremors references. I guess either he is fond of the movie or the folks at the marketing firm are big fans.
It's a great little movie (and the sequels arent that bad either) and I always wondered what his feelings for it were.
Would love to see him and Fred Ward back together in another movie. They worked well together.
