Pico Projectors
At least three companies are ready to brag about pico projectors—pocket-sized projectors that can beam a big-screen TV onto any wall. Optoma, 3M, and Aiptek will likely be showing off their tiny screen-casters, and connect them to iPhones, USB sticks, laptops and memory cards. But we’re on the hunt for a mini-projector that’s ready to be built-in to a device like a phone or video camera. Is this the year for the built-in projector? We have a feeling a prototype might be lurking on the show floor somewhere.
HD Sewing Machine
We admit it—we’re not heading to Vegas just to catch a glimpse of a high-tech home-ec product. But we want to show you Brother’s QuattroT 6000D, with 56 LEDs and 32-inch screen with InnovEyeT software as an example of the inventive, unexpected innovations we count on discovering on the show floor at CES. Every kind of electronics company is represented, with products for every industry and hobby. You never know what you’re going to find if you wander long enough.

"Steve Baller" eh?

Good one. I'm pretty sure you meant "Ballmer" though
And "timelines" instead of "timeliness"
actually on the 3d monitors, there are some already out. you can get a 21.5 inch for as low as 340, on newegg
Thanks GoodGuy. I guess these are just bigger and customized.
The pico projector phone has been out for a while, you guys need to get out more. You are supposed to be the experts?
Hey Gringott,
Post a link to the "pico projector phone," if you please.
Thanks,
Rachel Rosmarin, Editor of Tom's Guide
Actually, according to a recent survey, most people DO NOT think that wearing 3D glasses is dorky.
