You can’t always judge the wisdom of crowds but when it comes to running shoes, if a sneaker is one of the most popular on the market then you can be pretty sure it’s a good option.

The Hoka Clifton line has been a favorite with runners for several years — as verified by Strava data — and even if you are concerned that thousands of runners could be wrong, let me reassure you that the Hoka Clifton 10 merits its popularity.

It’s a comfortable, stable and highly-cushioned daily trainer that’s ideal for new runners but can also slip into the rotation of a veteran easily, and right now the Hoka Clifton 10 is reduced to $124 in the Hoka sale.

The Hoka Clifton 10 is a cushioned daily trainer that offers a smooth and comfortable ride. It’s perfect for beginners, and also a great option for experienced runners who need a comfy shoe to eat up the miles. Right now the Clifton 10 is reduced by 20% in the Hoka sale, with several colors of the women’s shoe and a wide range of sizes available. The men’s Clifton 10 is only reduced in one color, but lots of different sizes are available.

The reason I rate the Hoka Clifton 10 so highly for beginners is because it’s a shoe that works for a wide range of running styles. It’s well-cushioned but not too heavy, and the mild rocker on the shoe helps to roll you onto your toes with each step.

I found in testing it worked well for easy and steady paces.

It’s a neutral shoe but also naturally quite stable, and I found in testing it worked well for easy and steady paces. If you have a couple of shoes in your rotation, you might pair the Clifton 10 with a lighter, faster option for speedwork, but if you stick with one shoe for everything, the Clifton 10 can handle faster efforts well for a cushioned shoe.

While it’s not the most exciting or bouncy shoe on the market, the Clifton 10 is a very reliable option that delivers a supportive and comfortable ride, and you can’t go wrong with it if you’re looking for a daily trainer, especially at this reduced price.

I also preferred it to the Hoka Bondi 9, which is also reduced, but still more expensive than the Clifton 10, while being heavier and sluggish on the run.
