I found 9 of the cheapest OLED TV deals still available starting at $549
These deals are proof that you don't have to spend an arm and a leg on an OLED display
I don't know about you, but I feel like the holiday season is hitting my bank account extra hard this year. I did not have a shiny new TV on my shopping list this year, but if I did, I'd definitely be in the market for something on sale.
If you've been trying to balance picture quality and price, you may have already ruled out OLED TVs on account of their infamously high price tags. But I'm here to tell you that, if you're savvy enough in your spending, you can lock down an OLED TV for well under $1,000. The 55-inch Panasonic Z85A is just $697 at Amazon right now — and that's just one deal of many.
Some of these models aren't labeled as being on sale on their respective retailer's website, while others are labeled as being only slightly discounted from a previous sale price. But make no mistake: All of these OLEDs are much cheaper now than they were when they made their debut.

My name is Michael, and I've been reviewing the best OLED TVs since they first made their appearance on store shelves over a decade ago. I'm such a big fan of OLED TVs that I bought one for my own living room. Now that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are over, I'm helping folks find the best deals that are still available on the most affordable OLED TVs.

The LG B5 brings everything we love about OLED TVs down to a much friendlier price. It's made even better with this recent deal which knocks it down to its Black Friday price. The B5 supports Dolby Vision and offers a full slate of four HDMI 2.1 ports that all support 4K gaming at 120Hz. This makes it a terrific pick for viewers who want an affordable OLED for streaming and gaming. Check out our full LG B5 review for the full scoop on this value-packed OLED TV.

One of the cheapest 55-inch OLED TVs you can get right now is the 55-inch Panasonic Z85A. This TV comes with Amazon's Fire TV smart platform pre-installed, and while it's not my preferred smart platform, the Z85A's overflowing value more than makes up for Fire TV's shortcomings. This entry-level OLED is also packed with plenty of features for gamers, too.

It's tough to imagine another 55-inch, LG OLED TV getting any cheaper between now and the end of the year. Like the LG B5, its predecessor is not as bright as higher-end OLED TVs, but you still get to bask in the glory of OLED display technology. If you're worried about its age compared to the newer B5, fear not: In my LG B4 vs LG B5 face-off, I break down how these two TVs are almost identical.

In our five-star LG C5 review, we showered this OLED TV with praise for its sensational performance, its class-leading selection of features and its approachable price point. The C5 delivers all of the benefits we've come to expect from OLED displays, but its design, software and overall experience is the result of LG's excellent engineering. The 42-inch version of this TV would also make for an excellent monitor.

Samsung's most affordable OLED TV of 2025 may not be as much of a showstopper as the brand's flagship-level S95F, but it's still super affordable for a 65-inch OLED TV. It also comes with a useful array of gaming enhancements and streaming features. If you're shopping for a cheap OLED TV above 55 inches, I can't think of a better option at the moment.

The 48-inch Samsung S90D is about $450 more expensive than the 48-inch LG B5, but that bump in price nets you a pretty significant bump in brightness, too. If you were hoping to use a 48-inch OLED TV as a gaming monitor, the S90D is a better pick than the B5, as it supports 4K gaming up to 144Hz compared to the B5's 120Hz.

Samsung's second-most affordable OLED TV of 2025 is the S85F, and right now, the 55-inch version of this TV is under $1,000. It doesn't offer the blisteringly bright HDR performance you'll get with one of Samsung's flagship-level, quantum dot-equipped OLED TVs, but there's still plenty to love here, including a full slate of HDMI 2.1-compatible inputs for Xbox and PS5.

I've admittedly not had an opportunity to see this Sony OLED up close, but it would be silly of me not to include it in this round-up. The 55-inch XR8B was one of the most popular OLED TV deals on Black Friday, and weeks later, it's still on sale for over $2,200 off. It blends Sony's top-notch picture processing with an array of features for streaming and gaming. This includes built-in Google TV and support for 4K gaming at 120Hz.

Last year's top mid-range OLED, the LG C4, is seeing some steep discounts before it disappears from shelves entirely in the coming months. It arrives with nearly all of the same features you'll find on the newer LG C5, including a full slate of HDMI 2.1 inputs, top-tier gaming support and Dolby Vision HDR. But because this is an older model, it's on sale for even less. I recommend jumping on it now if you're interested, as it won't be in stock for long.
Frequently asked questions
What is an OLED TV?
Unlike traditional LCD/LED TVs (which rely on a backlight to illuminate their pixels), OLED TVs feature self-illuminating pixels that can be brightened and dimmed independently of one another. Because contrast is such a crucial element of picture quality, this is a huge advantage.
Why should I buy an OLED TV?
OLED TVs have several advantages over even the best QLEDs and Mini-LEDs on the market. The biggest advantage is that OLED TVs can render perfect black levels. This might not seem like a big deal, but it looks incredible in person and has a ton of benefits across different aspects of performance.
While even the best Mini-LED TVs might suffer from light bloom when bright objects clash with darkness, OLED TVs aren't saddled with this issue. Due to the nature of OLED displays, they typically offer wider viewing angles than LED TVs, too.
Since even entry-level OLEDs (like the aforementioned LG B5) are inherently higher-end models compared to entry-level LED TVs, they usually arrive with more A/V- and gaming-related features than these competing TVs, too. This makes the most affordable OLED TVs highly attractive options for cinephiles and gamers on a budget.
When is the best time to buy an OLED TV?
The best time to buy an OLED TV was a few weeks ago during Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales events. The second-best time is now, as many 2025 and 2024 OLED TVs are still heavily discounted at the end of the year.
In early January, many OLED TV-makers will unveil brand-new OLED lineups at CES 2026. This might kickstart a new round of discounts on some of the TVs listed above, but there's no guarantee one way or another.
